JJiaoshageliOverall, a good experience. The facilities are top-notch, but there's room for improvement in service and attention to detail. - Perfect location: Close to the airport and duty-free shops, super convenient for travel and shopping. - The room was spacious, with excellent views. The bedding was comfortable and very clean, as was the bathroom. Room cleaning was prompt. - Luxurious amenities: The pool, sauna, and gym are all worth experiencing. - There's a shuttle service to and from the airport every 30 minutes. Just wait in the shuttle waiting area; no free shuttle ticket is needed. Hotel staff proactively help with luggage. - Minor drawbacks: - Due to the unified arrival of airport shuttles, the front desk can have long queues during peak hours, and efficiency is average. The front desk staff were very polite, which was a plus. - Some rooms might have noticeable airplane noise. Light sleepers should be cautious. The noise was particularly prominent on the last day. - There's no free lounge area in the lobby. Perhaps there are some on other floors that I didn't discover. Conclusion: The hardware lives up to the Grand Hyatt brand, and overall, it's still recommendable.

AAnonymous UserOn the first floor, there's a microwave, an ice machine, and vending machines for snacks and drinks. Coffee (Americano) is around 1800 JPY and a latte is 2200 JPY, so it's quite convenient overall. However, it's a bit of a hassle to have to go downstairs every time you want to heat something up.

VVxiaobaWaking up to the gentle sound of waves at Shilla Stay Plus Lihot Towoo Beach Hotel, it felt like the ocean was right outside our window, lulling us to sleep. Our twin room was spacious and comfortable, with huge floor-to-ceiling windows framing a magnificent, ever-changing seascape. The kids danced barefoot by the window, watching clouds cast shadows on the glass. In the evening, we all leaned by the window, watching the orange sunset slowly dip into the horizon, painting the sky and sea in soft, warm hues. Time seemed to stand still in that moment, and I heard my child quietly say, ”Mommy, the sun is going to sleep.” Just outside the hotel was the unique black volcanic rock coast. My child curiously touched the rough rocks, listening to Dad tell stories of this land from billions of years ago. The tide rolled in, breaking into foamy white waves on the black reefs. My little one squatted there for a long time, saying it looked like the ocean was dancing. This wasn't just a place to stay; it was a sanctuary where we had intimate conversations with the sea, with nature, and with each other. On the way home, my child kept asking, ”When can we go back to hear the waves sleep again?”

GGuest UserAbout 15 minutes by car from airport. A quieter part of Jeju city but enough restaurants within walking distance plus on-site convenience shop. Clean and well-maintained with superb housekeeping crew. Breakfast buffet was average. On-site cafe has reasonably priced food and dribks. No dental kit or shaving kit in room and so bring your own!

GGuest UserThe environment is absolutely fantastic; the air on the mountain is superb, perfect for taking a leisurely stroll. There's a unique theater nearby where you can catch a show – just make sure to plan your time accordingly. The rooms are also very spacious and the facilities are well-appointed. There's a convenience store on the first floor of the hotel where you can even top up your transit card. The location is a bit far from the CBD, but for this price and the quality of the accommodation, you really can't ask for more. I highly recommend taking a taxi; otherwise, you'll have to drag your luggage up a hillside path, which would be quite strenuous.

LlwqwendyThe room isn't big, but it's clean, and the price is right. The location is very convenient, situated between Shilla and Lotte Duty Free Shops, both about a 10-minute walk away. There are also Olive Young stores on both ends (a 5-minute walk). BHC fried chicken is right across the street. Things to note: 1) The room door opens outwards. If you're concerned, you can reinforce it with a hanger at night, though I didn't experience anyone knocking, so it felt very safe. 2) The light right inside the entrance is a motion-sensor light. It'll turn on if you move around. If this bothers you, bring an eye mask for sleeping. 3) Bottled water is only provided in the room. You can't get more from the front desk after checking out on the last day, so I recommend taking some with you from your room. 4) I encountered 5 staff members: a young Korean woman (spoke English), an older Korean woman (spoke excellent Chinese), an older Korean man (spoke Korean), and a young Korean man (spoke English). All four of these staff members were very friendly and welcoming. However, there was one male staff member, around 40, who spoke Chinese (possibly a compatriot), who was extremely unfriendly! I just don't understand why fellow countrymen are often the ones who make things difficult for you when you're abroad??? I asked him in Korean to contact housekeeping to clean the room, mainly to help dispose of trash (we didn't know how to sort it); we didn't need the bedding changed. I said it twice, and he gave me a look that implied ”your Korean is too poor to understand,” and then told me, ”Speak Chinese!” If this man's Chinese is so good, why didn't he just ask me in Chinese from the beginning if he couldn't understand my Korean? A while ago, I used the exact same Korean with a housekeeping staff member, and they understood perfectly well??? I've also seen others complain about this male staff member on Xiaohongshu. Just a heads-up to avoid him.

DDebborAHThe hotel's location is excellent. I booked a room with a sea view, and even though we arrived late at night, my daughter and I still went down to the beach. There were guys playing soccer on the sand and someone playing the guitar – the atmosphere was fantastic! The room itself seemed quite traditional; my daughter got to experience a Japanese-style tatami mat, which she loved. The hygiene was excellent, spotless, but the decor was very old. The bathroom's wet/dry separation wasn't ideal, but everything else was great.

GGuest UserI have to rave about this hotel! The location is absolutely fantastic. It's only about a 10-minute taxi ride to the airport. The hotel has three elevators, making it easy to get up and down. There are convenience stores right by the entrance and in the lobby, which is super handy. The room is huge with two king-sized beds (1.5m each), incredibly comfortable. The room is exceptionally clean, especially the floor – not a speck of dust! I walked barefoot every day. The shower water was hot and had great pressure. For this price, in most countries, you'd only get a very basic chain hotel. This is truly the king of value for money! The famous Showa Fried Chicken is just 300 meters from the hotel entrance. If you turn left out of the hotel, without even needing to turn again, you'll find the massive Lotte Duty-Free and the Shilla Duty-Free a bit further down. I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit Jeju Island.

GGGRonI personally like the location. Near to airport. Taxi fare less than 6500won. Bus Stop just outside of the hotel. 7-11 next door too. Didn't try out the breakfast, gym and swimming pool so no comments on that. Understood that 2000won is needed for towel fee if you choose to swim. You can find their 2 wasing machines and 2 dryers at B2. 5000won for washing and 5000won for drying. 500won for a small pack of powder detergent. Thank you to the ajummas that did room cleaning, they were friendly and well mannered. Pretty disappointed with the front desk staff instead, they weren't as friendly as I would hope them to be. The front staff just asked us for our name and the number of luggage and gave as a tag which we need to tag it on our luggage ourselves. and also, the luggage we would have to leave them at the ba Luggage area and collect ourselves once we were done. This can be better managed by the hotel front desk staff than the hotel guests instead. Just a suggestion. Thank you.

AAnonymous UserDo not get taken in by the photo. When we arrived, we were so shocked by how old the place looks compared to the picture. The lobby was empty, there's no one by the door at anytime, only the receptionist and they barely acknowledge you till you queue and reach them. They are not fluent in English or Chinese, barely able to communicate at all, till google translate. The room looks like the picture but doesn't look like the picture as well, everything is in the right place but it looks nothing like the pictures. Way less bright, way less glam, and everything is broken literally. Our tap is faulty, it's a struggle to use the basin everyday. The curtain fell and was lying on the floor. The hook for your towel is broken and dangling. The charging socket is broken and can't charge. The shower leaks water even if you're not using then rain shower. And they only allow request of additional 2 bottles of water. Mini bar is fully chargeable. There is no smart TV or any phone screen mimicking, so the TV is useless. You want to pull the curtains? Gotta climb up the tub and walk on it and pull. All in all, very disappointing and not worth my money. It is considered affordable but tbh you could do better. I would've booked another hotel instantly if this was refundable 5 mins inside the room. 3 out of 10 for me.
