stop by for an overnight stay, firstly got the room on the third floor, NO LIFT, was told that due to particular online booking, room given has no lift. If you want a room with lift access, pay extra. Then the room was big, spacious but Air Conditioner was not working. Staff came over, checked, and offered change of room, one floor lower. But the funny things was that we were told to go back down three flights to reception just to get the new key. Why cant the staff bring it to us. Second room ok. but scary as the window was out of its alignment. Informed reception but again no similar rooms so had to stay put. Not sure if would like to come back. there are many hotels in town to choose from.

FFirdaus1160First of All, This hotel very good. very clean & more space to put our stuff. Very friendly staff✅ 5/5 For better : - only give Air Minuman instead of Mineral water - there is no tissue in room unless in toilet. Overall, i think this one of the best Hotel u can get with a good price👏🏻

TTeds19We were on ”road trip” around Semenanjung, and somehow tried our luck with AST. To our surprise, the hotel was better than our expectation, especially at the price we paid. We end up extending day after days, and made AST as our ”camp” when we explore Kedah and Perlis :) Do note, this is a business hotel, and we find it good as lodging purpose only. Help us to rest in the night, clean up, while on day time we explore the town/state

GGuest UserOverall stay was good, in term of location, easy access restaurant and shops, room cleanliness, safety and security systems. However, area need to improve is WiFi connection not so stable during 3 days 2 night stay need to change different username and password for 2 every day. On 2nd day I can't sleep properly due to noisy from another guest room at level 4, door room was bang strongly by another guest when closed the door... The rest good.

MMayu_HazukashiStayed here for a night on business trip. The hotel is on its own building, without any other next door. So if you're the type that love to walk to convenience store like few yard away, this place is definitely not yours. The entrance road to this hotel already isolated, even it is parallel to the main road. As far as i can remember, there is no shop or stall or place to eat along the entrance road. But still, this hotel is in the town and still easy to get food. The lobby was nice with lots of seat and tv. The outside corridor also have seats and it is quite serene to chill out there especially at night. The room is okay, quite spacious, clean and the bed is comfy. Aircond is provided with tv, kettle and coffee. No mini fridge is provided along with telephone. Shower room was nice, with big shower head, good water pressure and centralise hot water system. The room price is affordable and breakfast is provided. There is no pool in this hotel. Overall it is affordable, clean, great shower time and a bit isolated. I could come here again, with transport

NNurMuhamadOnce arrived, the hotel have a lot of open parking space, I was welcomed with such friendliness from staff at reception. Check in was fast and easily communicated. The room given to us was great with view of Alor Setar Tower ( Level 8). It was big room, clean and we were satisfied for the money paid. The food at restaurant is great. I would definitely recommended this hotel, since its located at center of town. Its near to the Pekan Rabu Complex. I will stay here again if I were to visit Alor Setar.

NNoor SyafizaThe best hotel so far I ever stayed when I am in Alor Star. Superb location, very classy boutique hotel with very friendly staffs. The room is super clean, linen is fresh and the bathroom is shiny. Complete amenities and also, huge flat screen tv. I dont have anything to complaint, perhaps maybe the hotel could add more pillows. Keep it up, and will stay there again surely.

GGuest UserThis is one of the oldest hotel chain in Malaysia since 1995 if not mistaken, great locations at many major cities and places in Malaysia. Staff is working hard to please guests that’s encouraging indeed. However the only let down of this hotel is the facilities and amenities are not been replaced as owners seemed not interested in refurbishment. This is very sad for me as I do enjoy to stay at Sri Malaysia hotel chain, great location, ample parking space, but the run down facilities indeed a let down. Even breakfast spread is the same over the years, such a low end budget hotel. Hope the owners of this hotel invest and reinvest if not this remarkable hotel chain will slowly wipe out from the Malaysia tourism industry map.

GGuest UserI stayed at the Royale Signature for 2 nights and had a very poor experience. Cleanliness was poor and upon checking in to my room, I found a lot of visible dust on the furniture and worse, oily handprints on the corners of cupboards. The room had a very stale smell and almost all the pillows smelt sweaty. The wallpaper was peeling and the interiors was generally faded and in need of refurbishment. Will definitely not return again.

Convenience, free parking, easy access, clean room, just fit me. Im such a hurry to find accomodation as last minute my husband had been assigned job at Sintok. Enjoy my night view of Alor Setar City was amazing. Will come again next time. Recommended.
