Best Hotels with bar in Gzira

Staff and breakfast were perfect but the room (with window) might as well not have a window you get almost no sunlight and outside the window you get a view of plumbing. The indoor pool is cold even though they say it's heated.

The location of this hotel and its cleanlinesses are the plus points. Our room was v small and the view was of a blank wall. Pillows were not adequate, but the bed was comfortable and the air con worked. No tea/coffee making facilities and nowhere to sit in our room except on the bed. The breakfast was not good, a very poor selection of breads and the fruit was mostly tinned. Did not try the cooked food, it did not look good. Definitely not 4 star. Would not recommend.

There were mixed reviews online so we were a little hesitant with what we would find. The hotel rooms are newly renovated - the room ceiling will look unfinished but they all look like that. Bathroom was great, with a double walk in shower - they do have a issue getting the fresh towels back to you each day but a minor niggle and you get used to it. George on reception was wonderful and sorted us out a room before actual check in. Breakfast was great, good choice of hot and continental - there were never enough cups for hot drinks though but a minor thing. The use of the lido across the road was great, we always got a sunbed and enjoyed the swim. Location is EXCELLENT. You are 10/15min walk to the ferry to go to Valetta - we did this most evenings. There are also boats to Gozo and Comino from there. At the bottom of the road you have a variety of bars and restaurants that you can walk along that take you into the town itself. You can carry on walking and get to St Julian's Bay. This hotel was one of the cheapest deals with Jet 2 holidays and did not disappoint. In summary, fantastic staff, excellent location and would highly recommend for anyone staying in Sliema.

The hotels in Malta are not very large because they are close to the city and close to the sea. Open the window is still, opposite the old town of Valletta. It is more convenient to buy things around, and it is also very close to the station. There are many old small streets behind the hotel, which are quite flavorful. If there are no special requirements for facilities and five-star level, it is recommended to live. In addition, the service staff was very enthusiastic and renewed for 3 nights.

Our stay at Bayview went relatively well overall. During our arrival we noticed that despite 3 people being at the front desk, only 1 person was dealing with room check ins/issues, which created an incredibly long wait! The room was moderately clean however has a lot of room for improvement as you could visibly see dirt on skirting boards, floors and ceilings. The TV also didn't work well & the patio door didn't haven't a lock! We also encountered major issues with our airport transfer on the morning of our departure - causing us to be 40 minutes later than intended to the airport. However Abdul (who worked the night shift) was prompt in helping us and made immediate contact with the taxi. Definitely appreciate the support he provided despite being the only employee at the desk while simultaneously dealing with other guests issues too! He should definitely receive recognition for his customer service as he was the only member of staff who we felt was approachable. Overall, we'd recommend this hotel, it just needs a bit more upkeep and potential refurbishment in certain areas (eg lifts, indoor pool etc).

The hotel is very well designed and it offers you every comfort that you need. The rooms are spacious and with great interiors, comfortable beds and all you can need for trip. The pool terrace is great to chill out with variety of drinks and cocktails, and the views are the best parts. You feel like you are watching a post card. The pool is not a big one, you barely get to swim around, and it is more to chill down and relax. The coffee and snack bar downstairs offers nice breakfast. It is a bit far away from the main attractions and events, so you better plan to catch some taxi or a public bus.

The hotel is very new, and the first impression of the hardware is very good👍The room is quiet but the service is average. (first four pictures) I stayed for four nights and only received 2 bottles of water on the first night. They explained that they would only be provided on the first night. Coffee and tea in the mini bar were no longer provided starting from the second night. They explained that they had forgotten it and finally provided them on the fourth day. But the sugar scattered on the table also spilled out (the last two pictures). These two points make the hotel service very cheap! Also: I really don’t like the old lady in charge of tourist reception at the front desk. I wanted to ask where to take the sightseeing bus, but she didn’t want to answer and instead asked me if I had bought a ticket. Does that mean you bought a ticket before answering? Breakfast is also good!
