Guesthouse run by an elderly couple..
About ten rooms, very friendly atmosphere except outside the season which was my case..a little sad a lot of closed places...note a local onsen 600 m away..the pension also has a small private onsen ...the rooms are basic but so is the price I paid...the owner is very cordial and the breakfast is excellent..

I stayed here on my way back from touring the Shimokita Peninsula by motorcycle. I had planned to run along the Hachimantai Aspite Line and the Jukai Line, but unfortunately I had to give up due to heavy rain.
After a delicious and hearty breakfast, we headed back to Tokyo in the rain.

This was my second time staying here, and both the owner and I felt like we were getting older.
There were some bulbs out of the lights in the room.
The bath was too hot, like last time, so I filled it with water for a few minutes.
However, the breakfast was delicious, including consommé soup, omelet, bread, and coffee.
I remembered how delicious the breakfast was last time.
The garden on the premises is also in natural disarray due to lack of maintenance.

It was run by a very kind elderly couple. The lobby was a bit cluttered but stylish. The garden was also very beautiful.
There is a hot spring, which can only be used at night. However, the bath was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was also delicious.
