Reviews of Hagi Kanko Hotel

I was a little worried because I didn't have enough information about the hotel when I made the reservation. The facilities were old, but I was satisfied because the cleanliness of the room was really top-notch. I was a little worried because it was Golden Week, but I had a nice time with my daughter in a quiet place with few people.

I was able to watch the sunrise 🌅 in a room facing the sea. The room and futon were clean. You can see the sea from the open-air bath. The food was full of seafood. I especially ate the butter-fried abalone while it was still warm. I wondered if I could eat that much, but it was delicious 😋. The staff were all kind and had nice smiles. They spoke to me in a fun way 🎶

The staff were very helpful. They were especially helpful when my child was sick. I'd like to go again.

There were hundreds of hairs in the Japanese-style room and on the carpet. It was the worst hotel and inn I've ever stayed in. I still feel sick when I think about it.

The hotel was smaller than it looked in the video. One thing that bothered me was that the TV in the room would not turn on, so I wondered if it was broken. It turned out that the plastic information card in front of the TV was in the way and prevented the sensor from working. It would be better to move it a little. Also, the dinner was very delicious, but the order in which it was served was a bit off. The rich braised pork came out at the end... I was full at the end and wished I had eaten a little earlier. But the female staff were all very friendly and I liked them. The breakfast had a wide variety of dishes and was very delicious. The indoor and outdoor baths were not particularly large, but they were well cleaned and I enjoyed them. Overall, I was very satisfied. The weather was not so good, so it's a bit disappointing that if it had been sunny, I would have been able to see a more beautiful sunset and sunrise... I would like to stay here again if I have the opportunity.

We stayed here on a family trip. From welcoming us to seeing us off, the service was polite from start to finish. Although it was not large, there was an open-air bath overlooking the sea, which was very pleasant. It is on a hilltop, so the view is great. The kaiseki dinner was all about fugu. The abalone was also fresh, and we were very satisfied. They also thoughtfully left iced water in the room after dinner. I think this is a very good hotel.

I made a reservation at short notice because it was available at a reasonable price on a day when there was a risk of a typhoon just before Obon. I came by car, but there were several staff members who guided me appropriately and helped me with my luggage. They also upgraded my room on the day and showed me to a wonderful room. It was a blissful time to be able to see the view of the harbor from the high ground and the hawks flying comfortably over the sea and sky from the same perspective because of the high ground. The scenery that changed with the sunset and sunrise was also wonderful. The baths were switched between morning and evening, and each had its own merits. Perhaps because it was close to the sunrise, the open-air bath in the morning was bright and sunny, making me feel like it was summer. Basically, all the meals for breakfast and dinner were laid out, and hot and raw foods were served later. There was a wide variety of alcohol, so I enjoyed it as a sake lover. I was impressed by the luxurious abalone. I think it would be better if there were more drinks to choose from for breakfast. Overall, it was a very good hotel. There are some students on school trips, but to be honest, the service and facilities were too good for them. The price was also reasonable. I will come again.
