WEST COAST HOTEL

The room was very clean, and the hotel butler service was thoughtful; they delivered milk every day, and on the first day, they also brought fruit and drinks. The hotel environment is excellent, just a short walk to the beach, and the pool is very clean. The breakfast selection was extensive and delicious, with very fresh ingredients. When we checked out, they even helped with our luggage. I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit Haikou.

I've been to Hainan many times, but this was my first visit to Haikou. After much deliberation, I chose the West Coast. My initial check-in experience wasn't great. The hotel clearly states check-in at 3 PM, and they should honor that. We arrived at 3 PM but didn't get our room cards until 4 PM. While they explained it was due to a shortage of cleaning staff and offered drinks during the wait, I can understand the reason for the delay, but I still don't approve of it. Putting that unpleasantness aside, my experience after checking in far exceeded my expectations, to the point where I'd consider staying here again on my next trip to Haikou. The room size was perfect, and it was well-equipped. We had a direct sea view from the balcony. Both breakfast and dinner were quite good, and the room service was also decent, with flavors that suited people from the Sichuan and Chongqing regions. The hotel only has one pool, but it was sufficient, and the public beach next to the hotel was surprisingly clean. Upon checkout, they even gave us some Hainanese snacks and coffee packets.

The hotel service was absolutely outstanding, truly excellent. From the moment we checked in, the assistant lobby manager was incredibly attentive and caring. The hotel even offered us a complimentary late check-out. There was also a young lady in the restaurant, whose name I don't know, but she was exceptionally warm and friendly towards the children, who absolutely adored her.

This hotel is right next to the Sheraton and has a pool. Holiday Beach is right behind the hotel, perfect for walks, bike rides, or ATV fun. They have a restaurant on-site, but if you want to eat out, other restaurants are a bit of a distance. You can order takeout, and a robot will deliver it right to your room. The staff are all very friendly and greet you proactively. The rooms are quite spacious and come with a dehumidifier, so there's no humid feeling at all.

Comfortable, clean, and tidy. Plus, they offer daily transfers for watching games and a butler service. The breakfast buffet is also delicious 😋. Every morning, opening the door reveals the sea 🌊. I'd go for an hour-long walk on the beach first thing, then come back just in time for breakfast ✌️✌️

The hotel room was odor-free and impeccably clean! The hotel staff (butler) were also very responsible and provided excellent service, really going the extra mile to meet customer needs! The air conditioning worked great, and the bed was very comfortable! Thumbs up! I hardly encountered any mosquitoes! Hahaha

Facilities: Newly renovated with high-quality amenities. Environment: The greenery is beautiful and very pleasing to the eye. Breakfast: A pleasant surprise! Although the selection wasn't huge, the food was prepared with great care. It had a lovely Hainanese and Cantonese flair, with customizable, freshly made congee being a highlight. The Western pastries were also excellent. Service: Truly lives up to the 'state guesthouse' standard. After the AFC Champions League match, the hotel shuttle bus whisked us away quickly, avoiding traffic. The staff on the bus even provided snacks and bottled water – so thoughtful! The service was incredibly attentive, not at all like a typical state-owned enterprise. The turndown service fruit was also delicious. During the off-season, the value for money is outstanding! The rooms are also large and quiet, with perfect attention to detail. There aren't many family-oriented facilities, making it particularly suitable for adults looking for a relaxing break. Very satisfied!

The room was super comfortable, right by the pool and close to the beach. The beach itself was fantastic too, really clean and not crowded at all. I was also very happy with the photos from my travel shoot. This is definitely my favorite hotel in Haikou so far, and I'll definitely be back!
