Haikou Star Dream Hotel (Meilan Airport) Reviews

This is the fourth time we have stayed here. It has free pick up and drop off at Haikou Meilan Airport with link to the Meilan Railway station. There are airport buses from Duty Free Shopping Mall across the airport going into Haikou city. The hotel is situated about 3 km from the airport in the small Meilan town, with lots of eateries around. From the Meilan railway station, it’s only about one and half hours train ride to Sanya. The hotel is small, but the room is spacious, clean and well equipped with hot shower, hair dryer, kettle and tv. Good for transit.

The hotel looks a little old from the outside, but it is quite clean. Clean is fine. It doesn't have to be too luxurious. Anyway, it's not expensive, and it doesn't cost much for a family to stay. We chose Haikou because it is much cheaper than Sanya in general. It's the first time for northerners to see the sea, and the family is also very happy. It's quite close to the sea, but a little far from the city, but Haikou is not big, and we went to many places. It's a good stay these few days. The elderly pay more attention to comfort, and the comfort is okay. The hot water for bathing comes quite quickly, the bed is not soft or hard, and the room is quite unique. The boss is very nice.
