Price affordable for solo travelling. Hotel was clean comes with free coffee or tea per day. Duct ventilation was not very good. But when i came back at night smoking smell is gone. Location is good but need to walk out abit for taxi to fetch you as the hotel is facing a dead end.

Beautiful and clean hotel with free commercial washing machine and dryer. Nothing much to walk nearby, but it is a 5-15min drive away from most tourist attractions. Great for family stay.

Nice place to stay. Although there was a pair of earplugs in the room, meant for sleepers to avoid the noise from the road, it wasn't necessary. Coffee served at the lobby, with one cup only daily was nice. Washing machine and dryer are available. Recommended to stay.

A pleasant hotel! Everything looks quite new. Comfortable bed (I especially liked that there is a choice between regular pillows and memory foam pillows). Good value for money (especially compared to hotels in Sanya where I am now and where hotels in this price range seem much lower quality). Friendly staff at reception. The only thing that could be better is sound insulation, in particular noise coming from outside the hotel. Even with the window closed, it felt as though it was open (what you hear is mostly traffic noise - which I got used to pretty quickly - but one evening also some loud music which annoyed me more; that stopped at 22:30 though, so not too bad after all). If I return to Haikou, I might certainly consider this hotel again.

There is constant cigarette smell in the room…especially at the shower area where the ventilator seems to be spoilt…other than that it’s pretty good.

Wonderful stay at SkyBird Hotel in Hainan. Staff are amazing, breakfast buffet is wonderful and suit the tastebuds of us Singaporeans. Location is good, and staff let us check in early for free

Check-in and check-out process was swift and easy. Hotel was clean and spacious. Conveniently located as it was a short drive to most attractions. There is also a park and shopping mall nearby within walking distance. The lift is only accessible by card and they also had a robot to send food delivery up to your room, which was quite safe as there was limited access to non-stayers. I rented a scooter to get around and there was designated parking lot for scooters just right in front of the hotel entrance which was quite convenient. There is also a charging point for scooters just a bit further down the road, about 2mins walk away, which was perfect.

The room is clean, well-proportioned, the staff is good, there is free coffee and cocktails, and it is convenient to travel. However, the disadvantage that I cannot accept is that the room smells very much of cigarette smoke, it smells all night, even though I booked a non-smoking room from the beginning. I had to open the window to help ventilate the room before I could stay in the room.

This hotel isn't appropriate for those who don't speak English. Service at the front desk and breakfast quality is mediocre. However, it meets the expectations for the cheap price of the room. The location is ok with a shopping mall opposite the hotel. Two washers and two dryers on the third floor are always occupied. For the guests' convenience, the hotel should provide live information regarding the usage of the machines and their availabilty on the TV page like in some Chinese hotels.

Location was quite centralised and service was good! There’s also free laundromat in the hotel for guest to use. Breakfast is from 7am - 12pm, which allows guest to rest in a bit longer. Also, there are free drinks (coffee/tea) every day to be redeemed at the counter. Special shoutout to Daisy and Lauren for making our stay a pleasant one!
