Facilities: There's a pool, but it's only open in the afternoon and evening, not in the morning. Cleanliness: Pretty clean. Environment: The king-size bed is huge, big enough for three people. Service: The breakfast is a mix of Western and Chinese options, offering everything. They also gave a 50% discount for both adults and children, which was very thoughtful.

I was stood up by the guesthouse next door, so I booked this place last minute. From the moment I arrived, the young man at the door was incredibly welcoming, helped with my luggage, showed me the room types, and told me about the hotel's private tide-viewing platform. I knew right then that I'd come to the right place. Overall, it was great.

This hotel is probably the best and most worthwhile stay in Yanguan Ancient City right now. I'd give it 5 stars across the board. The breakfast, in particular, was fresh and plentiful. When you're traveling, convenience and comfort for both food and accommodation are paramount!

Came to Haining to watch the Qiantang River tide, and upgraded to a balcony room, so we could watch the tide right from our room. We had lunch at the hotel's Chinese restaurant, and all the recommended dishes were delicious. They even gave us complimentary fruit, so it was excellent value for money. The room also came with complimentary fruit and snacks.

Choosing to stay at the Qianjiang Junting Hotel for this trip was an excellent decision! First off, the location is superb, right by the Qiantang River, so we could see the Qiantang River Tidal Bore right from our room's balcony – incredibly convenient. Secondly, the hotel facilities are comprehensive. Even though it's been open for over a decade, the hotel is exceptionally well-maintained and still looks grand and luxurious. Furthermore, both the cleanliness and service were outstanding; the hotel, inside and out, was spotless. The staff were highly professional and provided thoughtful, attentive service, making us feel right at home. All in all, our stay at the Qianjiang Junting Hotel was very pleasant and satisfying. A big thank you to all the front desk, restaurant, and housekeeping staff who assisted us!

Stayed during the holiday period. Arrived at 1:30 PM, and my original room wasn't ready. They kindly upgraded me for free to a family room on the 7th floor, which had a great view and was very spacious. The hotel's 3rd-floor terrace offers a view of the tidal bore, but unfortunately, the tide wasn't very strong during my stay – almost non-existent – so I ended up exploring the nearby Yan Guan Chaole City instead. There aren't many takeout options around the hotel; most are delivered by the merchants themselves. The hotel had a very high occupancy rate, and the breakfast area was extremely crowded, which wasn't a great experience.

The hotel's location is a bit off the beaten path, but the surrounding greenery is lovely. The only downside was that the riverside path was under construction, so we couldn't take a walk along the river, and the riverside facilities weren't fully developed. However, we could watch the tide from our balcony, which was very relaxing as we didn't have to deal with crowds. The service was also excellent; they provided fresh fruit and snacks every afternoon.

I got an upgrade from a river view room to a balcony river view room, and it was a great experience! The hotel is right by the Qiantang River, and from the upgraded balcony, I could watch the tide bore directly. It was quite interesting to see the seawater flow back, though it wasn't during a big tide, so I only saw small ripples. I look forward to staying there again next time!
