Reviews of Takuboku Tei

The price and the content are well balanced, but I think it's somewhere around the middle of the Noguchi Kanko range. [Things I appreciated] 1. My doctor has forbidden me from eating raw food, so they changed the assortment to a thickened bean paste sauce when I added an extra dish for consecutive nights. If they had told the front desk from the beginning, I wouldn't have had to bother the buffet staff. I was helped by a man with glasses who looked like a chief. The taste was okay, but they just quickly put together what they had on hand, but I was happy with their thoughtfulness. 2. There was a large plastic bottle of water, which was helpful for staying hydrated. 3. Although it came with benefits, there were few restrictions on the in-house vouchers, so I was able to buy plenty of souvenirs. 4. There was a proper greeting when leaving the buffet, and the guide was nice, asking if I wanted to take home coffee, even though I don't drink it. [Things I didn't like] 1. There was no questionnaire, so I was given a paper for consecutive nights, even though I didn't have any writing utensils, and I couldn't write a notice for the cleaning staff when they asked me to write it. 2. I wanted the room to be cleaned, so I asked the front desk if I didn't need to put out the paper saying that cleaning was not necessary, but the room was not cleaned and the cups were not changed. The towels and yukata were replaced and left in a bag, so I guess it can't be helped. 3. I wonder if it's the inn's fault or the parents' fault. The child in the next room was screaming every day from 5am and woke me up, which was very unpleasant. I just wanted to sleep. 4. There was a person with a full body tattoo in the large bath. Is it okay for that kind of person, who clearly has different tattoos from foreigners? They're not doing anything to them, though. To be honest, I'm worried. There are no warning signs in the bath, so I think it's OK, but I think it would be uneasy to bring children. 5. The female staff at the evening buffet were busy cleaning up right next to me while I was eating, which made me feel uneasy. I'm sure they're trainees, but I wish they'd at least say something. 6. In general, if the front desk isn't doing a good job, it affects the work of other staff. [Other] Compared to other Noguchi Kanko hotels, the buffet is not very well-designed, probably because of the price. I wish there were more Hokkaido products like Nonokaze from Lake Toya. Also, it was the day after the match of Sota Fujii, so I thought it would have been nice if they had put something on display.
