Hotel Tetora Yunokawaonsen

I have stayed here many times when I come to Hakodate. The facilities are old but the price is reasonable, and the baths are free-flowing hot springs with the best quality. They offer plans that allow pets, and cats are allowed here too. There are very few cat-friendly hotels in Hokkaido, so this is a real help for us who love traveling cats! I usually make reservations by phone, and the staff are always friendly and warm. I feel that this is a warmth that is unique to Hakodate and not found in other areas. This is a hotel that I would definitely recommend staying at, even just for the hot springs!

The hot spring is free-flowing and the tiles are clean, but it's a shame that the doors and other areas are stained with mold. I think just using mold killer would make a difference, right? I don't know. Also, for the price, the food is satisfactory and tastes good. The staff are all kind and polite. The rooms are rooms with baths and toilets, and the walls are old and have changed color quite a bit. There is a TV, refrigerator, and a safe. I will use this hotel when I have work in Hakodate, so I compromised.

The unchanging atmosphere of the hotel with a sense of Showa era, especially the hospitality of the front desk man who is kind, gentle and reassuring, seems to make my eyes hot 🥹🥲 Every time I am impressed by this hotel. The Japanese-style room is equipped with an LED aquos (liquid crystal television) telephone, dryer FF stove, air conditioner (Mitsubishi Kirigamine), and a small but fairly large refrigerator. In addition, there are towel drying, deodorant spray, multiple hangers on the wall, and the entrance of the room has two doors, so there is almost no noise in the corridor. The bath is the finest real free-flowing hot spring ♨️ It is a first-class product without any complaints. By all means, if you like Showa hot springs, please go there. There is no doubt that you will be addicted to it.

I stayed 2 nights in the fall 3 years ago, stayed one more night a month later, and came back for a day trip that month (laughs). The hot springs, the atmosphere of the Showa period, and the relaxing interior. This is my favorite hot spring hotel. This time I stayed in a Japanese-style room, but it's quite rustic😁 but there is a sense of cleanliness. I will calm down. I will come again.

This is an old business hotel, Yunokawa. I wonder if it was bought by the Tetra Group, which operates hotels in Hokkaido, especially in Hakodate. The facilities are quite old and give off a Showa-era vibe, but they are well-cleaned and comfortable. Also, perhaps because employees are thoroughly trained, everyone I interacted with was polite. In my room, there was a handwritten note addressed to me, expressing gratitude for my tiredness from the journey. I was very happy. And the free-flowing hot spring is also exceptional. The quality of the spring water at other Yunokawa hot springs makes it feel like regular hot spring water. The hot spring is rich, and when you taste it, it has an exquisite hot spring onsen taste that you have never felt at other Yunokawa hot springs. The water temperature is different between the open-air and indoor baths, and the bather's feelings are taken into consideration. Although it was for business use, it was a great inn. The disadvantage of the old facilities is more than made up for.

The facility is old, but everyone was kind and pleasant. The quality of the hot springs is very good. I can't enter the hot spring at 8:00 in the morning, but I think it would be good if you could extend the time a little more.

１１日、夕食の時 周囲の方は皆さん、小声か黙食されていて、安心しました。数分後に、３人様が食事され、常連さんなのか、配膳の女性が大声で馴れ馴れしく率先して談笑し始めました。勢いに乗り、常連さんは御飯の保温器の蓋を開けながら、大声でマスク無しで仲間の話に応じていました。 コロナ感染が少なくなったとは言え、私達も【黙食して下さい】の掲示物に協力しているつもりです。 注意すべき立場の職員さんなのに、その言動に、ガッカリ！！折角の御食事が台無しです。 ただ、フロントの方については、電話対応もフロントにての対応も充分に満足でき、温かい雰囲気の丁寧な説明に感激しました。 心温まる直筆（いずみ様）のメッセージカードにも感謝します。 ハード面は低料金から、贅沢は言えません。 しかし、温泉は温度も丁度良く、私達の旅の４箇所の中で１番温まりました。 ガンの私には、一つひとつが大切な想い出造りの時間です。
