Reviews of Hanabishi Hotel

Staff in the restaurant are excellent. Speak good English and is very friendly and willing to help and serve at all times. We forgot the breakfast time ends at 9am and we only started 8.30am. The old lady in the restaurant kindly offered us to bring unfinished food back to our room to finish them. She even brought us tissue papers making sure we have everything we need. The onsen is nice and in traditional Japanese style. We enjoyed our stay very much and will definitely come again.

My only regret is not booking the room for more days! ❤️ Pros: very close to the tram station; the room with the open air bath is spacious, clean, and sooo lovely; the public bath was clean; the staff were very nice, shoutout to Julie for explaining everything to us; the breakfast was good; i loved the little things: the charming yukatas, the snacks, the loose leaf tea, a lot of thought was put into it Cons: idk. only because im nitpicking but the hotel’s a bit old which adds to the whole vibe of the room we stayed in. 100/10… definitely coming back and seeing all the Hakodate spots we missed because of our short stay and staying here again

Room size is suitable for two people, beds are comfortable. There are two onsens, outdoor and indoor.

Good onsen facilities and breakfast with plenty of options. Also located close to the airport (by car) with some restaurants nearby to choose from within walking distance. Room was spacious and the bedding were comfortable. Reception was fluent in Mandarin so no problem in raising any requests.

Super nice hot spring resort

It takes about 8 minutes to get off at Yunokawa Station on the airport bus. The hotel is large and the hot spring is also good. The hotel also has Chinese-speaking waiters, making you feel at home

Hanabishi Hotel is the most praised hotel in our Hokkaido trip! Although the hotel is not in a busy area, it is directly accessible by tram and not far from the station, so the transportation is convenient. The hot springs are even more surprising, and it is worth recommending!

The location is convenient. Take the tram from Hakodate to Yunoizumi Onsen Station, cross the road and walk for 3 minutes to arrive. It was raining that day, and the staff immediately came out to help us when they saw us at the door. There was a staff member who spoke Chinese and took us to the room. The hotel is comfortable, the breakfast and dinner are rich and delicious, and all the staff are friendly and polite. I will stay here again next time I visit Hakodate!

Very nice Japanese hot spring hotel, very cost-effective, Japanese kaiseki dinner is delicious, breakfast is also very good, if there are some entertainment facilities, it will be perfect!

The service was very good. They helped me with my luggage at the door and sent it to my room. They also introduced the hotel facilities while I was there. Ms. Zhang at the front desk and several restaurant staff members all spoke Chinese and provided great help. I am very grateful. The hotel facilities are relatively old, but well maintained. The large bathhouse is nice. The food is average but worth the price. The only thing I didn't expect was that the dinner on the second day was not as good as the first day. It may be because of the selection. I personally can't accept pork hot pot and canned fruit as dessert. Overall, it is highly recommended. The location is also convenient and the price-performance ratio is also very good.
