Hotel Kikuya

This was my first time staying in Hakodate. The hotel's location is a huge plus, as it's within walking distance of Hakodate Station. The front desk staff were all kind and provided excellent service. The room was spacious and comfortable. I plan to visit Hakodate again around spring and would love to stay here again.

Our family of three stayed for one night (1 bed and 2 futons). It's a charming, traditional hotel, although a bit dated. The room even had yukatas, a tea set, and toiletries. The only thing I couldn't get used to was the pillow; it was very firm. In the end, I folded the blanket, put it under my head, and slept in just one yukata.

This was my first time visiting from Miyagi. The location was excellent, very close to both the station and the morning market. The shower pressure was a bit weak and the room lighting was dim, which was slightly inconvenient, but overall I had a pretty comfortable stay.

The hotel has older facilities, but its location is extremely good, just over 5 minutes from the train station and the tram stop that takes you to various parts of the city. The room is simple, but has all the amenities for a peaceful stay, including a very basic breakfast. I arrived in the morning, well before check-in time, and was able to leave my backpack, which they even took to my room. I recommend the hotel and would stay again.

Perfect for a one-night stay. Breakfast would be even better with a salad option.
