The atmosphere is nice and quiet, and it's close to the cable car station and tourist boat pier. There's an additional 450 yen tax for the onsen. Overall, it's good.

The hotel's location is in the mountains, so if you're driving, it's best to get there early, as some sections of the road have no streetlights at all at night. Otherwise, everything is great. You truly feel immersed in nature, allowing both your mind and body to relax.

The hotel offers a good traditional experience. However, the location may not be ideal for early travellers or those without their own transportation, as it is not close to the train station and taxis can be difficult to find. I reserved an Uber the night before, but the driver could not be found at the scheduled time. Breakfast only opens from 7 am, and the hotel’s transfer service is available only from 9 am to 6 pm.

The best part was definitely the large public bath. It had a sauna and an open-air bath, which I really enjoyed. The downside was that it rained on the day I stayed, and the room was incredibly humid. There was no air conditioning or dehumidifier in the room, so it ended up being a damp and sticky space.

We arrived late in the afternoon, and no one told us we needed to reserve the restaurant, so we couldn't eat (there's nothing else around). The toilets were extremely dirty, and breakfast was poor for the price. The onsen was nice, but be careful with your tattoos. I do not recommend this establishment.
