The hotel location is quite good but you gotta have a bit patience in how to get there if you drive with Navi. The service quality is decent overall. Recommend to those who would like to enjoy their stay in family style.

Pretty good and great price

It is really great to choose this hotel for this trip to Hakone. The location of the hotel is halfway up the mountain. You can take the bus and get off at Nizhiping Station and walk uphill for 5 minutes to the hotel. If you can speak Japanese, you can also call the hotel in advance to arrange a free shuttle bus to and from Kowaki Valley. At Nizhidaira Station, you can take a bus to Gora, Sounzan, Hakone Yumoto and other attractions, and the transportation is convenient. A 12-minute walk from the hotel is the Sculpture Forest Art Museum, which is very close. The environment of the hotel is very good, the woods are dense, and the sound of birds and running water can be heard. We booked a double bed in the Heshi Bungalow in the main building, plus one stay and two meals. The room is large, with tatami mats and large floor-to-ceiling windows, with a view of the woods outside the window. The hotel facilities are excellent. There are two public men's and women's bathhouses in the main building and the new building, and there are almost no people. There are also 3 free private soups outside, no reservation required, first come first served. I went to a public bathhouse in the evening and it was very comfortable. I went to have a private soup (yellow leaf soup) in the morning, and it was very comfortable to watch the woods. The hotel provides free yukatas, and there are also paid yukatas (the color is good-looking and suitable for taking pictures.) The hotel needs to tell the front desk about cleaning, and we will be given lactic acid bacteria as a gift after cleaning. The hotel waiters have a good attitude and are very enthusiastic (although I don't know Japanese) Eating in the hotel is also excellent. The breakfast and dinner are very delicate, each dish is not repeated, and it takes 2 hours to eat a meal, which is a real treat. The hotel also provides free Yakult, popsicles, Meiji milk (too delicious), and late-night ramen at certain times. There is also free tea and snacks in the lobby. We stayed for 2 nights and had two dinners of hot pot and bbq. We enjoyed it very much. Although it was 2600 per night, it was a very cost-effective price. We had a very happy and satisfying stay, and the travel was very relaxing. We found this hotel from Xiaohongshu, and we highly recommend this hotel. Except the hotel staff's English is not very good. Everything else can be given full marks, like 👍

The food was good. The car from the train station to the hotel picked me up and dropped me off (send me three times, pick me up and take me out to play). I didn’t choose to go out when I arrived at the hotel on the first afternoon. I had breakfast the next day, stored my luggage, and sent us to the station. It is also possible to pick us up, but we took the bus in a hurry on the return trip. We got off at Xiaoyongyuan and found that we walked back to the hotel after a few steps. It is very suitable for relaxation. The most satisfying part of the Japan trip is staying at this hotel. Listen to the spring water and soak in the hot springs in the woods, and have a glass of self-service milk after soaking! Smoking and relaxation in the lobby has a good view, and tea and coffee are self-service 24 hours a day. Super full for dinner. The free ramen for supper is also delicious. The service staff is very good, explaining and receiving carefully.
