Very close to hakone yumoto station, Great onside onsen and big room. If you have a big luggage, you can come in from the left stairway instead of the long flight of stair on the right

The hotel is easy to find. It's right next to the station. The transportation is convenient. You have to walk up a small slope. If you have luggage, the boss will help you carry it. It should be a self-run hotel. It is very warm and friendly. We just wanted it to be convenient so we could store our luggage and go on a day trip, and just pick up our luggage when we left. The hotel is clean and comfortable. The rooms are on tatami. I like the authentic Japanese style. My kids and I like it the most because it has its own natural hot spring. The Japanese-style hot spring has separate male and female pools, which is very down-to-earth. When you are tired after walking for a day, you can go directly to the hot springs. The pure natural hot spring water does not need to be heated. It flows directly into the pool from the mountain. Remember to be early. It ends at 9 pm, but you can continue to soak at 7 am. It was just released in the morning. The water is extremely hot. Remember to bring water when you go to the hot springs, or bring money to buy it at the vending machine. My kids and I liked this hotel very much. We stayed one night and soaked in hot springs twice. If we come to Hakone again next time, we will book this hotel to stay for two more days.

⚠️Credit cards or e-payments not accepted, only support cash even if you booked on Trip.com⚠️
If you are looking for a high-quality, low-priced, non-luxury hotel, this traditional Japanese-style hotel is very cozy, the hot spring temperature is moderate, and near the train station (you need to climb up a slope). The experience is good, worth recommending. The staff was friendly and gave me time to withdraw money even though I didn't have enough cash. In Hakone, lots of stores and restaurants do not support card and e-payment. It is worth noting that the hot spring is open until 9 pm and this room does not have an independent bathroom, you must go to the public bathhouse before closing. The room has a slightly humid air-conditioning smell, so it is recommended to open the windows for ventilation when going out.

You get what you paid for (I know it's one of the lowest charge for onsen). It was advertised for 800 yen but we were charged 900 yen admission, additional 200 yen for a small towel (make sure you bring your own bath towel with you). The facility is very old and the atmosphere inside the osen is just OK. The locaation is convenient, it's just a 5 min walk/incline from the Hakone/Yumoto station.

I didn’t read previous reviews before staying - simply chose this place for its proximity to the train station and traditional onsen. Although short, it was a very steep climb to get there! Check in was good with the host using a translating machine to convey key messages. My room was very basic but adequate. Unfortunately the air conditioner was very old and didn’t manage to cool the room sufficiently to enable sleep. I had turned it down as far as possible and left the curtains closed in the hope the room would be cooler when I returned the next day. Was disappointed to find the temperature had been turned up again so again it was an unbearably hot night. The onsen was tucked into the hillside and was nice.

This hot spring inn is located behind Hakone Yumoto Station. You can also use it for day trips. You have to climb a long, steep staircase, so it can be a little difficult if you have a lot of luggage. I stayed overnight, but the open-air bath is open until 21:00 and from 7:00 in the morning. You can enjoy hot springs that flow directly from the source near the station.

Run up a slope about 6 km along Route 1 from Odawara city, pass Hakone Yumoto station and it is on the upper right hand side. Evening is long past and I am usually alone, so it is an indescribable feeling of happiness to be warmed by the free-flowing hot water from the open-air bath while lying on the cold rock face of the open-air bath. Even so, it may be because I am a Showa person. The facility is withering, but the cleaning is perfect, which is the best for me. If you feel hesitant, I think you should just go to Yuryo, which has the same entrance. The price has recently increased by 100 yen to 900 yen, but it is a highly recommended hot spring for some people.
