Hakone Yunohana Prince Hotel

It happened that it was a rainy day but it snowed heavily on the mountain! Although there were some obstacles going up the mountain, fortunately the driver was experienced and arrived safely! Every waiter greeted us kindly. While waiting for check-in, we even took the baby to the courtyard to watch the snow. It was a great check-in experience!

I booked a one-night stay at the Hakone Yunohana Prince Hotel in Hakone on February 5, 2024. The hotel is on the top of the mountain. The location is excellent and you can enjoy the beautiful scenery that cannot be seen below the mountain. It happened to be a rare heavy snowfall that day, and the traffic in Hakone was paralyzed, making it impossible for us to reach the hotel normally, so we immediately contacted Ctrip’s customer service. I would like to thank Ctrip’s sister Xiaohe very much for worrying about my urgent need. Contact the agent and ask the hotel to send a car to pick us up at Gora Station. Although we waited for 2 hours, it was very good to be able to do this under the sudden heavy snow and force majeure. I would like to thank Ctrip for its perfect after-sales service. I would also like to thank the hotel staff for being able to arrange every guest in the hotel under such extreme weather conditions! The hotel is very clean and the whole environment is very quiet. The Japanese courtyard style makes people feel away from the hustle and bustle and alone in a pure place. Especially after the heavy snow, it is like a fairy tale world with beautiful scenery. After check-out, the hotel has a dedicated bus to take guests to Odawara West Exit, which is very convenient. If I have a next trip, I will still choose this old hotel.

I used Hakone Yunohana Prince Hotel to spend a relaxing time during the New Year. I was traveling with my family, and I was able to communicate with the hotel staff via email from the beginning of the reservation, including room reservations, room assignments, and meals, which was very helpful. In Japan, the number of people in a room is strictly determined, and if there are more people than that, we have to add more rooms, which made it difficult to make reservations. In the United States, even if the number of people increases on the day, the price of one room always makes it easy to stay overnight, so I wish Japan would do the same. I made a reservation for the same menu as the adults so that the children could enjoy hotel food for the first time, but since the children could not eat on the day, I was glad that they accommodated me. I'm glad that I had a good New Year's holiday this year and that my whole family was very happy. I would like to use it again with my family.

The facilities of these hotels are really good. The staff at the front desk are really nice. There are outdoor and indoor hot springs in the hotel. The outdoor hot springs are really comfortable. Next time I have a chance, I will definitely stay in this hotel.

An independent hotel on the mountain, next to the golf course, it is best to get there with a car. The environment is very beautiful. When we arrived in the evening, there was a Chinese-speaking waiter who could communicate easily. He had already prepared the room card for us to check in, which was quite considerate. I booked a tatami corner room, which was very spacious and comfortable. The hot spring is very comfortable. You can take a bath at any time from 5 to 10 am and from 1 pm to 1 am. Seats have been arranged in advance for both dinner and breakfast. The taste of the exquisite cuisine is okay, but I would like to suggest that the hotel must replace the chopsticks used. The disposable chopsticks are of poor quality, frizzy and irritating, and difficult to use.

Traditional Japanese hot spring hotel. There are few people, the service is friendly, the environment is very quiet, and the meals are very appetizing. Especially the wild lilies on the pathway connecting the hotel are infinitely elegant and beautiful.

It looks very big on the map, but it’s actually a big golf course. The hotel’s own garden is not big. There are two long and narrow hot springs, one indoor and one outdoor hot springs. It’s convenient to live here and start from Lake Ashi in a clockwise direction. Go to Odawara and Lake Ashi The shuttle bus runs once a day

The room was amazing! The meal package we ordered was also a very correct choice! The scenery in the hotel is first-class, you can take pictures for a day in it, and I will definitely introduce friends to experience it.
