We came here purely for a ski trip and like most hotels in hakuba it’s crazy expensive Except this hotel After reading the mixed reviews we still booked it and surprised us , simple but it’s what we needed and not far from the main area or ski area People complain about the icy road to get to the hotel… my dudes your going to a ski resort… get with the program haha

Very old backpackers hostel that doesn’t have good wifi, no cleaning is offered, everything is in very old and run down condition. Need a taxi to go to town for dinner and back and getting a taxi is a nightmare. No shuttle bus available after 4pm. Rooms are tiny, bathroom is even smaller:-( and walks to the building are dangerously slippery. I don’t like leaving negative reviews but this one really needs a ‘wake up call’.

Depressing holiday The room was smelly and very old dormitory style, no towel change, breakfast times changed daily and WIFI was non existent in room, I left a whole week earlier than scheduled and was disgusted at the price, I was in such a hurry to get out that I left my brand new ray bans in the room (I have never owned such expensive glasses) I also nearly fell down the stairs , photos attached
