I could use this space to write about how stunning and scenic Hakuraa Huraa is, it truly is paradise! But honestly, what made my stay unforgettable wasn’t just the views, it was the incredible people who made me feel so welcome. From the moment I arrived, the team went above and beyond. Hussain kept my room spotless every day and always greeted me with a warm smile and a friendly chat. Then there’s the amazing dining crew – Ricardo, Fairooz, Dhaain, Shifaz, Ayaash, Ninanno and Raufa, who turned every meal into a joyful experience. Breakfast, lunch, dinner… they didn’t just serve food, they served laughter, great conversations, and genuine care. A huge shoutout to Sous Chef Chathuranga and the kitchen team. When they found out I was vegetarian, they created personalised dishes just for me and checked in constantly to make sure I was happy. And Thara – wow! The desserts and breakfasts were mouth watering and out of this world. Thara not only catered to my diabetes but also greeted me every day with warmth, smiles, and chats that made me feel like family. And finally, Rumesh – the heart and soul of Hakuraa Huraa. Words can’t do justice to how genuine, kind, and welcoming Rumesh is, he made my stay very special. Truly an asset to the resort! To everyone who made my 7-day stay so special: thank you for the memories, the friendships, and the care. Hakuraa Huraa isn’t just a beautiful place – it’s a beautiful team.

It was our first time at the resort and we really enjoyed our stay. Everything was fantastic. Peaceful, with magnificent views and delicious and varied food. There are some minor downsides, of course: the location is far from Male and it's impossible to swim at low tide. Otherwise, everything was top-notch. I recommend it.

The room is big and new, the meals are all inclusive and the price-performance ratio is super high. The scenery is so beautiful, but the service really needs to be improved. I can't feel it, especially when we left, we booked a water flight back to Male' and asked us to check out very early. The uncle who cleaned the room couldn't wait to wait at the door, so we had to leave the room and wander around. The meals were rich, and there were many choices of drinks and alcohol. We booked a water bungalow, and sharks, tank fish, and various small fish were everywhere. We chartered a speedboat to the island ourselves, and did not use the hotel's boat. The water flight back to Male was booked by the hotel, which was about 1,500 RMB per person. However, overall, I still recommend coming here. I stayed for three nights and felt that I could lie down here for 15 days. There were very few yellow-skinned people, all of them were white people. I hope these can help people who are going to stay here. We are a parent-child tour, and we can add a small bed in the room. The roof of the room is canvas, and it makes a loud noise when it rains.

A lovely week in the sun, impressive water villa, extremely friendly and attentive staff especially in the main restaurant. As you sit in the same place for your staff the wait staff will get to know you, we had the pleasure of being served by Shifaz and Raufa who were so friendly. The food has good variety and they have a cooked salad and desert room. The beach isn’t quite as sandy as other resorts we have been too but the sea is lovely nonetheless. Would we come back? Absolutely.
