Paradise Hotel & Resort Properties in Ha Long

If you are looking for a Hotel near the Marina so you can board your Cruise in the morning then seriously consider this Hotel. The staff was pleasant and waited for our late arrival then arranged for us to be driver to the terminal on their EV. All four of us really enjoyed our stay here and wished we stayed an extra day instead of Hanoi. We arrived late so we didn't get to sample their cuisine but we had an enjoyable Breakfast Buffet.

The staff were all friendly. On the ship I boarded (Paradise Elegance operates two ships), there was one staff member who spoke Korean, though not fluently, and they were always there to help me out. The bedroom, bathroom, and balcony are smaller than some newer cruise ships, but they are spacious enough to accommodate any inconveniences. The breakfast buffet on the second day includes juice, coffee, and water. Drinks and alcoholic beverages for lunch and dinner on the first day are paid for at checkout. Two bottles of water are provided in the bedroom, but they are not allowed. The itinerary may feel a bit tight for those looking for a more relaxed experience, so feel free to skip some of the dishes. The buffet, while not extensive, is edible, and the dinner course is also quite good. The cruise itself mostly takes place around lunch on the first day and around breakfast on the second day, so the actual time spent on board is limited, which was a bit disappointing. However, the sunrise and sunset views from the ship among the islands of Ha Long Bay will be unforgettable memories. I only made the transfer from the Paradise Hotel to the dock a few days before boarding. I had to change the check-in location and contact the pickup vehicle separately, and although it was not the cruise's fault, the pickup to the next destination was delayed due to confusion in the process of changing the pickup location, and the newly built pier lounge was not ready for use on both days, so I had to wait outside, and on the second day, the wait time until the next pickup time was long, so I told the staff and left my luggage outside the lounge and went to a nearby cafe, but I received a call about my luggage because it was not communicated between staff members. These were all inconvenient.

The service was very good. The response to the additional shuttle bus arranged from Hanoi to Halong Bay was very fast. The bus went to the wrong hotel first that day, but someone could follow up within ten minutes. I was very pleased with the cleanliness of the boat. The dining also surprised me. I recommend this cruise accommodation.

From the first welcome drink to the goodbye wave, it all felt so personal. Joselito has this great energy, always smiling and chatting with guests. The sunset on the sundeck, with a cocktail in hand and Thuy making everyone laugh - pure magic.
