We stayed at a newly opened hotel in the Whitsunday Islands for five days and four nights. It was family-friendly. The hotel was small but exquisite, with a soft Morandi color scheme; every snapshot looked like something out of a magazine. The bedding was very comfortable, and the pillow height and mattress firmness were perfect, improving our sleep quality. Our child had a separate crib and fell asleep instantly.
The pool was for hotel guests only, with towels and a DJ. Ice cream time was available daily from 2-4 pm with a single coin. On Wednesday evenings at 6:30 pm, we watched "Night at the Museum" on the beach terrace again – so much fun!
The marshmallow chocolate in the minibar was incredibly delicious; we made a hot chocolate every night before bed.
Breakfast was à la carte, all-you-can-eat, and the fruit platter could also be ordered separately. We tried everything and highly recommend it. Avocado and grilled cheese were my must-order side dishes every morning. The two cold cereal cups were a great combination, and the flatbread on the menu looked unassuming but was absolutely delicious! Sarah, a Malaysian employee at the hotel, speaks Chinese and provided us with a lot of help. We are especially grateful to her.
