Gerry made us feel welcome the moment we walked up to the desk his positive attitude smile, and kindness was exceptional. Often, sadly front desk employees can be less than chipper. That was certainly not the case with  Gerry!  We laughed and told stories and honestly  I wanted to hang with him at the desk and chat. He is one fine employee.  I hope you can keep him!  We will be back!

Convenient location. Restaurants open for dinner hours. Indoor pool was a bonus. Balcony view was great for sunrise watching. Waters in room for coffee machine was useful. Spacious King sized bed.

The first room started to shower just enough hot watwr to soap up then cold.... Not clean in the bathroom, there was hair on the sink from someone who shaved their beard before us. Floor was dirty thru out the room. They did move us to a smaller room :-(. Did not think that was possible. The floor was dirty, with a thick layer of dust on the top of the TV. When I originally went to book my room, I called the hotel to see what our group rates were since I was going for a 3-day workshop being held at the hotel. I was given regular hotel rates I could get online. There is no special rate for our group. So I booked thru someone else and had a much better rate. One of my friends booked a room last-minute @ the hotel their rate was $119, and the group rate was either $199 or $219 for the same night. If you have food allergies, do not eat there. During the first lunch of the workshop, I ended up with a mild reaction from cross contamination. I am just lucky it was not worse. The next day, Scott made sure that my food was prepared alone. I would not recommend this place for workshops. The heat was not working for the first day. It was pretty hard to focus when you were freezing. They did get it fixed overnight, but that should not have been an issue to start. I took us to continue to ask. We finally got space heaters to take some of the chill off. I was just frustrating for everyone. I would not stay at this hotel again. Plus, there was not a microwave in the room.
