1. I reported that my avocado got consumed yesterday afternoon, Hostal said would review the security camera, but 20 hours had passed until I checked out I still got no response. This is a serious incident as theft is an unacceptable illegal crime.
2. On the first day I arrived in the Hostal, there was no staff available in the counter. Our check in time was supposed to be 11am. Even though we tried to phone the staff, there was still no reply. At last, we had no option but were forced to put our luggages in the common area. Combining the fact that our fruit was consumed by others, it posed a danger to our luggages as our valuable personal items were inside. Our plan for hiking and watching sunset was therefore forced to be delayed for 45 mins and still no staff appeared. It was disappointing as it was supposed to be his/her working hours.
3. The attitude of the Hostal staffs were also rude and unfriendly. We were reminded several times in several different occasions to clean the table and sink while we still haven’t completed our meal and tidying, by cctv and also face to face. I wondered if they had so high efficiency in inspecting all our moments in the hotel, why they could not find out the person who consumed our fruit for 20 hours. I wondered if they are just strict to the tourists while loose to themselves. I wondered if this is the normal service quality in this country.
4. There were no hairdryers in the hostel which were listed in the agency trip.com where we booked it from. The hygiene of the toilet is also disappointing as we noted there to be urine stains at the toilet seat.
