The location is brilliant - right next to the river. The evening view from the window was fantastic. If you're into running, there's a great running path that follows the river. Perfect!!! The staff were VERY friendly and helpful. We got an upgrade when we arrived (although not sure what the upgrade included since the room looked pretty much like what we had booked). The room itself was very clean and the bed was VERY comfortable. The bathroom looked nice at first, but then the shower drain didn't work properly and when checked it was clogged up. The water from the shower kept spilling through to the toilet cabin - the sealing between the two needs checking. The overhead shower didn't look clean and the ceiling in the bathroom was peeling. We had an air purifier in the room (I guess that was the upgrade?) but it kept switching off after a minute. And for some reason the hair drier only worked in the socket next to the window. We were really looking forward to sitting by the pool in the evening, but we were told that we had to pay 1,000 RMB to use that area in the evening. That should have been made clear in the hotel description since one of the reasons we booked this hotel was so we could admire the view in the evening from there. Overall, very happy with the location but the bathroom needs repairs.

We had a great stay at this hotel. The breakfast was delicious and staff were so polite and friendly. The room was spacious and very clean. The only downside was the toiletries were very limited. There were not any body lotion , cotton buds and shower caps in our room.

The hotel is located in Binjiang New District with convenient transportation. Behind the hotel is a large shopping mall and close to the subway station. The hotel room is large and has a sunny view. However, the light switch instructions in the room are not clear. The hotel has central air conditioning. The temperature in Hangzhou has dropped a few days ago, so the air conditioning has turned into hot air. Customers can only open the windows or it will be suffocating. The safe and electric door plate also had problems and needed to be replaced. The above problems are not big problems, they will be encountered occasionally when staying in hotels, but what makes me most angry is that the service level of the hotel is really dragging down the entire InterContinental Hotels Group. The first is that they do not help guests make reservations, and the concierge is useless. The hotel lobby is big and tall and looks gorgeous, but what is missing is the staff? Check out today and need a taxi to go to the train station. The front desk actually told me that we don’t have this car-hailing service? Can this be considered a five-star hotel? International brand? It’s incredible!

It has been a pleasant stay in this hotel. It is clean, spacious and has a really good view across the river. The night scene is great and we get to stroll along the river just across the road. Nicole, Kylo and George have been very helpful during our stay here. They have assisted us in every way we needed cos it was our first time here and we didn’t know how to go about it. Overall it was a great stay! Will definitely come back to this hotel again if I were to visit Hangzhou again.

Came on my last week in China. Enjoyed the location. Laundry and small gym. You can receive parcels here too. There's 2-3 big shopping malls, bars, metro stations, universities, m&p shops in the area in walking distance. The streets outside are clean and quiet at night. Housekeeping cleans daily and are very nice ladies (3rd floor). The front desk are very helpful, I don't speak Maderin and no one spoke English, so wechat was the connect. I highly recommend getting the bigger room with the window and sofa if your going to stay for a week or more.

During the May Day holiday, I went to Hangzhou on a temporary basis. Through the standard room booked by Ctrip, the hotel is located in Binjiang. The surrounding area is quite rich in food, drink and fun. You can go to the fifth subway station of West Lake. The front desk explained that if you book a room through Ctrip, breakfast is not arranged. If you want to have breakfast at the hotel, it costs 49 yuan/person. The outer window rooms are all booked, so I live in the inner window room with ventilation windows. The only downside is that the ventilation starts at 7 o'clock in the morning, and the noise lasts for an entire hour, which seriously affects sleep. Hotel services and hygiene are good

Great experience, third time staying at the Azure and the standards still remains high. Quick check in and the room was clean and spacious. The River view was amazing despite the fog. The room service cleaning lady who helped us with some amenities was so cheerful and very kind. She definitely deserve praises (UNA ZHAO).The panorama resturant still remains the best fine dining spot in HZ. Our butler (Leon) was also cheerful and made the diner experience more pleasant. The À La Carte menu has a lot of great meals to choose from. Also the breakfast selection has a lot to choose from, great value for money. Only 1 disappointment the main Jacuzzi is still not functioning, though one can still use the ones in either men’s or women’s changing room. Definitely coming back!!!
