If you want to be a stone throw away from the West Lake, this is a fantastic place to be. With everything you would want to see right on your doorstep. Our room, although a little dated, was clean and comfortable. I do prefer a firm bed and this was on the soft side. Make sure to bring a USB plug as there were no usb sockets in our room. Also, for a room with a street view rather than a residential building, ask for an odd numbered room. Breakfast selection was great and varied.

PRO: - Strategic location, by the side of Xihu Lake and there were lots of restaurants and shopping mall behind it. CONS: Considering this is an International Hotel ”Grand Hyatt” - At first, they gave me a room that was not fully furnished (no bath tub and shower door), different than the pict that they advertised. I complained to the manager to give me another room. In the end she transfered me to the fully furnished one, but she seemed annoyed by my complain. - Compared to other Hyatt rooms that I've stayed, this room was the smallest. - Limited selection of breakfast for a 5 stars International hotel. Not worth for the price they charged.

My family stayed in Grand Metropark Hotel in Hangzhou last Apr. 22-23. The hotel is beautiful and clean. The staffs are hospitable but so busy due to many visitors during that day. We only encountered minor problem because the card key malfunctioned and it needs staff intervention to open the door. Overall, i am satisfied and i can rate my stay 8 out of 10.

The five-star rating given to Xinqiao Hotel during this trip to Hangzhou was an unexpected surprise. I stay near in77 every time I go to Hangzhou, but this is my first time staying at this hotel. Serve: The hotel staff are very polite and have a good attitude. They even upgraded our room type when we checked in. From the far edge of the 13th floor, we can see the observation deck on the 10th floor and part of the West Lake. Hotel features: The observation deck on the 10th floor is very unique, but the foggy weather during those two days affected the impression. Otherwise, it would have been very pleasant to sit there, look at the West Lake, and have a drink. The lobby on the first floor of the hotel is quite grand. There is a very interesting study room. There were activities during the two days we were there. The children painted fans and liked it very much. Room facilities: Well, when I looked at the photos posted by guests in the reviews, I felt that the facilities in the room were rather old, but in fact they were okay. It might have something to do with the color of the furniture. The room is very clean, the bed is big, and the stay experience is good. The overall stay experience was very good. I originally wanted to extend my stay for one night, but it was fully booked during the New Year. I will come back next time.

The first time I took my children to Hangzhou to play alone, I arrived at almost ten o'clock in the evening. I saw this on Trip.com and placed an order decisively on the subway. So if you coming from airport no need to the change line. Hotel itself located at city, morning time can walk to Hangzhou museum, along the way many shops around. Western shops eg: macdonald, costa coffee, starbuck. Alot cafe, tea, souvenir shops. Close also morning market called Damanong. Can have breakfast and see the morning market. Use the public bicycle to go there, just use alipay. Distance 1.2km. Near the morning market at the end there is God City Temple for you to visit, can see the whole Hangzhou city from top of the temple. The hotel is clean, have free washing machine and dryer machine. Detergent provided. At the same place there are 2 treadmills provided ( gym quality). Couch provided while you waiting for you laundry. There is also a steam iron provided. Breakfast selection is good with varities of foods like egg fried rice, chicken sausage, ham, beef, eggs, salted eggs, cereal, warm soy milk, milk, bread, butter and strawberries jam. Noodles, congee, fruits, croissant, cupcakes, corn, cookies. There are 2 robots helping to deliver things inside the hotel. If you order food, the robot will send the food to your room. There are also snacks you can buy at the ground floor. For muslim, this hotel located infront of a mosque, there is a Halal restaurant near to the hotel. More halal restaurant across the road near to exit A og Ding’an metro station. I came during Christmas, the hotel give me present for Christmas, when I check out they give me souvenir to me also. Everyday, I was provided with 2 bottles of water and change new set of towel. The water heater, the heater function very well during winter. Im a happy guy during the visit.
