If you want to be a stone throw away from the West Lake, this is a fantastic place to be. With everything you would want to see right on your doorstep. Our room, although a little dated, was clean and comfortable. I do prefer a firm bed and this was on the soft side. Make sure to bring a USB plug as there were no usb sockets in our room. Also, for a room with a street view rather than a residential building, ask for an odd numbered room. Breakfast selection was great and varied.

Service: The hotel service is considerate and responsive. The hotel has its own fleet of vehicles, with free pick-up and drop-off within 2-3 kilometers of the hotel. I would also like to thank Master Jia and Master He for their recommendations on the delicious and fun things to do in the pedestrian street. I enjoyed the meal. Authentic and affordable Hangzhou cuisine. Environment: The hotel is in a quiet corner next to the lively Liulang Singying, adjacent to the West Lake, with exclusive lake views, and Leifeng Pagoda is in front of you. Inside the hotel is the Imperial Garden of the Song Dynasty. History is around you and it is so beautiful. Hygiene: Hygiene is very good and very clean. Facilities: The facilities are complete and considerate, the hotel supplies are of good quality, and the bedding is very comfortable.

Room was ok but no soap or toothbrush, pillows too thin and soft, and the gym/pool was in a smelly basement. Staff was tedious and slow at check in. Also the top floor restaurant -- nice view -- but the food was bad and they didn't have half the things on menu.

This time I brought my parents and children to visit West Lake. It was the most popular time in Hangzhou, with good weather, flowers to see and tea to pick. Fortunately, the hotel occupies an exclusive location, and there is no impact from a large number of tourists. Building 6 itself is very new and well decorated. There are coffee, tea and fruit in the afternoon. Compared with the West Lake State Guesthouse, the scenery is good in each, but the State Guesthouse is bigger. There are more places to visit, suitable for staying longer. The attitude of the waiters in Xizi Hotel is very good. Especially Master Xu at the concierge, thanks to him, we can help us complete the itinerary so well. In addition, we took the hotel travel photos. Compared with the travel photos in Sanya, I feel that the experience is better, 20 plus one. Thank you photographer Kong Kong, the photos are very beautiful, and now the screen saver of my family has been changed to the new photos taken by the children.

Annoying thing was that every time you walk into the room and insert your keycard, the TV switches on and plays really loud music which we had to turn off every time. Great check in and check out times though :) Not many places to get on a Didi / taxi, since there isn't a driveway, so you need to be fast when ordering a taxi.

The room is on the second floor without a lift. The waiter who took us to our room showed no sign of helping us with our luggage. This may be because most homestays lack due service awareness. In addition, the breakfast provided by the cafe downstairs is a bit too simple. The coffee doesn't seem to be as authentic as the legend, and the waiter's attitude is rather blunt and doesn't show the kindness it deserves! All in all, one experience is enough

I checked in during the rice special forces tour on the weekend ~ The location is very good, the house seems to be a historically protected building, and I stayed in an inner room on the first floor, which was very quiet. The first time I took my children to Hangzhou to play alone, I arrived at almost ten o'clock in the evening. I saw this on Trip.com and placed an order decisively on the subway. I was worried, but after I arrived, I found that this place was close to everywhere. Hefang Street, Yintai, and West Lake were all nearby, and Hangzhou Public Security Bureau was opposite, which was too safe. After check-in, no matter what time, the landlord returned in seconds and stayed for two nights very intimately, very comfortable. Will visit again next time

The staff is very friendly and went to the extra mile to explain to me how to use the logistic services. The room is spacious and clean. The hotel is located along the Nan Song Yu Street where has many shops for food and gifts. The hotel also provide free mineral water. The only setback is the wifi service which require to have a local phone number for verification code. Those without a local number will not be able to connect to wifi. However, the staff is able to assist by using their hotel phone number to activate the wifi as an alternative. Overall, excellent service, location and cleanliness. We will definitely wanna stay here again if we come to Hangzhou again.

We stayed for one night and booked because the location is just perfect! We enjoyed our time and night exploring the pedestrian area and loved it. The service was great and everyone was friendlier and helpful, would recommend. However, the hostel facilities are a bit outdated, specially in the room. We had only a one person cover for a bed of two what made the night a bit cold for us and there was a less pleasant smell always coming from the attached bathroom that we couldn’t get rid of , but overall a good quality/ price stay.

Perfect location. Major heritage sites and museum on the door step. A pedestrian street means it's quiet yet super close to all amenities. Breakfast (Chinese and western) is served opposite in a relaxed stylish cafe/bar which offers guests a discount.
