I have bad experience with this branch in Xian because they are not clean but this location is very clean. Staff can communicate English. Location is 550m walk and you can rent a bike in font of hostel.

It's a youth hostel, so I guess you get what you pay for-- general pros and cons of a general hostel/capsule hotel applies. ' However, I must say that the service is exceptional. Initially, I didn't quite enjoy my stay there due to the corridors smelling abit weird, (plus Hangzhou having a general issue of cigarette smoke being almost everywhere) plus all the other cons of a typical capsule hotel, plus other miscellaneous issues such as the laundry machine also relying on having an alipay WALLET, (which, as a foreigner, I did not have) or my locker having issues, but, the staff at the hostel were exceptionally friendly and helpful, helping me find a way to get my laundry done, my locker fixed. I felt that they knew what they were doing and I didn't feel too worried my entire time there. The staff also were very helpful in giving directions, recommending food, and even with parcel collection. I am not really quite sure what else to say here, I just felt that they were super friendly and sweet, and willing to help with any queries I had. (Once again, thank you so much, if you guys are reading this, I literally cannot stress this enough, thank you, thank you for helping me, thank you for making my stay so enjoyable) Additionally, the vibe there is amazing. Although I came with low expectations and no intention to make friends, I somehow (credit to my travel buddy) made many new friends and I thoroughly enjoyed getting to know them, speaking with them, overall interaction. The whole place just has this nice chill vibe and they've also got lots of games there, and a nice pool table. The concert night was quite fun too, got to see a nice rendition of 后来 (刘若英/Rene Liu) by one of the performers. Perhaps I'd do it again.

The bed bunks really are fine, nice lighting, good towel and the bed was also nicely made. However, the room was a bit dirty, lot of hairs on the floor. Furthermore the bathroom stinks a bit. The staff was kind but could not speak English very well

Beds are really comfortable, great location, near subway and west lake. Staff are helpful and speak English. Rooms are really clean, so are bathrooms and really nice social areas. However, the toilet cubicles themselves always smelt like cigarette smoke... and the hostel itself is not very social... hard to make friends or maybe that's just China's youth hostel culture, everyone just keeps to themselves and the social events.... well they are not social at all...

Good customer service, water dispensers are available and overall their fixtures are pretty new and well designed. I had a good stay!

Great female capsule dorm with big single bed! Staff at reception were super helpful about where to go and recommendations. Not many foreign travellers at all but I was there to relax so wasn’t too bothered about doing things solo in this city. Lots of local Chinese people but not many from abroad but good vibes and safe area

The private room was very good and clean! Not a lot of privacy in the bathroom but still not a problem

As expected of a 10-year backpacker, the location is very good, close to the bus stop and subway station, and the staff are very patient. 😆The breakfast they provided is very suitable for my taste, I will stay here again next time I come to Hangzhou! 🤣

It was my first time staying at a backpackers' hostel. I was worried after reading reviews that the backpackers' hostels in Hangzhou were average. But after arriving, I found it was OK. It was quite like a large youth hostel (maybe we need to compare it with backpackers in other cities). Some minor shortcomings are that the public area on the first floor is a bit small (the whole place is a bit small), there are only hooks in the shower room, and it would be better to have a table for drying items. Also, the bed room only has a small table and hangers. I prefer the ones with many grids under the feet, so I can put more personal items. The sanitation was cleaned in a timely manner, and I would like to praise the young volunteer who just graduated from high school! The service was particularly good! (The service of others was not bad, but it lacked a little human touch)

The bathroom is separated into dry and wet areas, with many compartments and complete supporting facilities. The entertainment venue has billiards, a bar, and a good atmosphere. The beds in the multi-person room are clean and tidy, with independent privacy and a separate locker

The overall experience was very satisfying! The hostel environment is very comfortable, the rooms and public areas are very clean, giving people a warm feeling. The beds here are very comfortable and soft, and you can sleep peacefully at night. You need to swipe your card to enter the door and the locker, which is very safe. The staff of the hostel are very warm and friendly. Overall, this stay exceeded my expectations! Whether you are looking for social opportunities or want to rest comfortably, this youth hostel is highly recommended. Next time I come to Hangzhou, I will definitely choose this hostel again.
