Shenlan Holiday Hotel (Hangzhou Expo Center Subway Station Olympic Expo City)

Parking is incredibly convenient, right outside the hotel. The room comfort is also quite good. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Hangzhou for business.

The soundproofing is terrible. There's a loud voice constantly talking outside the window in the hallway. They're even talking loudly late at night, disturbing my rest. The hotel's location is okay, across from the concert hall, within walking distance. However, the soundproofing is poor. The toilet isn't clean. And it smells. The room phone can't reach the front desk. Otherwise, it's alright.

The facilities are terrible, the room is tiny and costs over 500 yuan a day, and breakfast isn't included.

The only advantage is that it's close enough to the Olympic Sports Center for concerts.

I would never have stayed here if it weren't for the concert; it's absolutely terrible. First, I arrived at the hotel at 2 PM, and the front desk said it wasn't ready yet and I had to wait 40 minutes. So I went to the attraction. I returned at 4:30 PM, and the front desk said I'd have to wait another half hour, saying only two cleaning ladies were working. What's going on? Second, they finally changed me to a cleaned room, but the window wouldn't lock. This happened with two different rooms. Finally, the front desk upgraded me to the largest room. Third, regardless of the room type, the bathroom and bedroom are completely exposed. The shower room leads directly to the bed, and the shower room itself is just a shower room; there's nowhere to put clothes inside. It's all frosted glass, so you can see everything, and you have to come out naked facing the other people in the room. The largest room finally has a door, a transparent glass door leading to the shower and toilet, but still no place to put clothes inside. Because the sink is outside the door, I had to bring a chair in to put my clothes there, otherwise I'd still have to come out naked facing the other people in the room. Fourth, the cleanliness is also poor. The towel I used as a step mat outside the shower stall had hair inside, and the toilet wasn't very clean either. Fifth, the water only came in two states: hot and cold; there was no lukewarm water in between. In short, if you're not someone who's completely honest with you, don't live here. It's especially unsuitable for mothers with their sons or fathers with their daughters.
