Banyan Tree Hangzhou

I was really happy with the room; it was large and beautifully decorated. It really lives up to the Banyan Tree name. I stayed at the Banyan Tree Shanghai a few years ago, and for a similar price, all you really got was a Bund view. The size of the room, the sophisticated feel, and the resort-like atmosphere there can't compare to Xixi. Here, there are two huge lakeside terraces, and the ducks and fish are smart – they'll come right up to you for food. The room itself was incredible, my parents couldn't even find me! The bathroom was also massive, though I wasn't a fan of the scent of the toiletries; it was a bit cloying. The hotel's exterior is stunning both day and night, definitely worth exploring. You can walk all the way to the Ambassador Suite area to get a closer look at the water. It's actually part of the Xixi Wetland, so you can catch a glimpse of the wetland's wild side. The hotel golf cart can take you to the free section of Xixi Wetland outside the main gate, and after you've explored, you can contact the hotel to pick you up again. Every single staff member at the hotel was warm and attentive.

The hotel's location is excellent, not far from the scenic spots but also away from the crowds. The environment is beautiful; we enjoyed breakfast outside and tried the stargazing buffet for dinner, which was very pleasant. The service was also great; Davina, who handled our booking, upgraded us to a villa, making it convenient for our family to stay together. We will definitely come again!

The rooms are spacious and the hotel offers beautiful views, blending traditional Chinese culture with Jiangnan garden aesthetics. The service is also very attentive and thoughtful.

Brought my parents here to experience spring in Jiangnan, and staying at Banyan Tree truly felt like stepping into an ancient garden. The entire resort is filled with charming bridges and flowing streams, and we even took a sculling boat to drift through the picturesque spring scenery of Jiangnan. Dinner under the big trees was an even more delightful surprise.

The environment is great, but the room space could be utilized better. It would have been perfect if it were a duplex! The staff are really good, and the shuttle service is prompt. Five-star rating!

Upon checking in to this hotel, I was greeted by Olive at the front desk who provided warm and thoughtful service. The room itself was very spacious, clean, and tidy, with complete amenities. The environment was comfortable and pleasant, and the good weather made the experience even better!

Staying at Banyan Tree Xixi, I finally understood what 'living by the water in Jiangnan' truly means. 🏞️ 🛏️ The suite is incredibly spacious, so comfortable to stay in! 🌅 The inner lake view is absolutely stunning, the window frame is like a painting. 🍴 Breakfast by the lake has an amazing ambiance, so elegant and relaxing. Special thanks to Jessica at the front desk, she's beautiful and kind-hearted, helping me mail back something I left behind. So warm and thoughtful! 💕

For this special occasion, we chose to stay at the Banyan Tree Hangzhou Xixi, and the views were absolutely stunning. The hotel itself is also very unique. Upon learning that we needed a late check-out, Olive at the front desk promptly arranged it for us. We're very grateful!

The rooms were incredibly tidy, and the staff were exceptionally professional and enthusiastic, going above and beyond to meet all our requests. The hotel environment is fantastic, perfect for families with kids – there's so much to do without even leaving the premises. The only downside was that we happened to be there during a wedding and a corporate team-building event, which made it a bit noisy.
