The East Hotel

The front desk staff, Xiao Jin and Xiao Zhu, were very polite and helpful. The room was comfortable and the hotel's design was sleek and modern.

The steak for breakfast was sour. After eating it, I had diarrhea for four days straight when I got home! Absolutely terrible. Avoid at all costs.

The hotel is about three to four kilometers from West Lake, which is quite convenient. Fairy Xiao Liu at the front desk provided excellent service. The breakfast was special, a blend of Chinese and Western styles. Highly recommended.

This was my most pleasant stay in Hangzhou. My son even praised my hotel booking, specifically mentioning the excellent breakfast, saying it was better than many five-star hotels! They even serve steak for breakfast. The front desk staff, Xiao Jin and Xiao Liu, provided great service too. I asked for a plastic bag, and they misheard me and brought a bucket of instant noodles, haha! We booked a suite, which was very spacious and well-designed, perfect for a family trip! The room also included a free mini-bar, which was a nice touch!

Traveling solo, this place offered great value for money. They even packed up the leftover burger from breakfast for me to eat on my journey back, which was really thoughtful service.

This hotel is absolutely fantastic! The breakfast was incredibly exquisite and varied. I've stayed in many hotels, but this one offers the best value for money I've ever experienced. The price is low, the service is excellent, the environment is great, and the breakfast is superb!

This is an older five-star hotel, which means it's been around for a while, but that doesn't detract from its quality! The room design has a Park Hyatt-esque feel, with double sinks and a bathtub, both very practical! They provide bathtub liners, kids' amenities, and children's slippers. My only slight complaint is that the hotel laundry service costs extra. A quick wash is 10 yuan, and 30 minutes of drying is 10 yuan. About 5 cotton items for a child still couldn't get dry. It's super convenient to get to the city center; you can easily hail a taxi right downstairs.

Three years ago, I stayed at The East Hotel in Hangzhou for New Year's Eve, and I chose it again for my business trip this time. It's a quiet oasis in a bustling area, and the hotel environment is excellent. Plus, it offers great value for money. For breakfast, there's a special menu with main courses; I opted for the English breakfast, and the mini wontons were also delicious. I'll definitely choose to stay here again next time.
