EBO Hotel (Hangzhou West Lake)

Our stay at Ebo had a great start as the nice front desk staff 栀子 helped with an upgrade, seeing that we were a family with baby. The service from front desk is great, I injured my foot and they helped with a hospital booking on my phone. The only downside was the laundry, there was only 1 working washer, and the other remained spoilt and inactive for the whole week. This made the trip abit exhausting - I met an old angmoh man from Singapore who cut queue and raise his voice to get his way. Made a laundry run became 5-6 hours with the queue cutters and frankly quite a waste of time.

Hotel location was convenient with easy access to didi and metro. Offered a free upgrade which was nice. Room was large, comfy and clean. Breakfast was fantastic. Only issue was we had to go to the lobby to retrieve our deliveries instead of the robot sending them to our room. Some deliveries were by robot and some were not, so we waited assuming that the robot would arrive but didn't.

Very near to mrt station FengQi Lu. It’s less than 50m away from exit 3. Walking distance to Wulin nite market which is about 7-10mins away. Westlake need to either take didi or cycle. Room size & cleanliness is reasonable. Lobby is at level 5. There’s 2 washing machine and dryer but it’s alwys occupied as only 1 washer is working during our 2N stay there. Did not manage to do our laundry. Have feedback to the hotel reception on the washer but no action was being taken. Also there’s a lady from 1 of the tour company stationed at the reception counter. She will approach guests and try to sell on their tour packages. Quite persistent which is something that we don’t like.

Good hotel, very convenient location next to metro, apart from the fact that the shower room (wet room) is lacking facilities to hang your clothes.

We have had a wonderful time at Ebo Hotel West Lake. The staffs are amazing and welcoming. The location was excellent and convenient to go anywhere. We'll definitely be back. We love Hangzhou.

Room is very clean and tidy. Hotel location is conveniently located beside Fengqi Station exit D3.. the area is also walking distance to wulin night market and west lake, In77, Hubin etc... Will definitely return again when I go to Hangzhou.

Amazing hotel, they upgraded our room for free! There was music playing in the room, it’s a music / sound system integrated with the room that you can control, bathroom was great along with bed. Very clean and service was good!

The hotel is right next to the Fengqi station, exit D3 (1 of the 3 metro stations near West Lake). This is on Line 1 which is 5 stations from Hangzhou East train station. Hotel sent reminder a few days prior, which includes directions to get there. During check in, they also prepare a pink sheet containing hotel information in English, which was very thoughtful. Initially, I was concerned the room might be dark but it turned out to be well-lit. Breakfast has an adequate spread including a live station for noodles and dumplings. The room size is good. It may not be the newest but it is modern and has interesting features eg. in-room music player. Amenities are also provided for. Some suggestions: Little bit dusty near the window area and a tinge of damp smell in the toilet, better soundproofing for the door.

Room no. 706's entrance and mirror lights were not working and the technician can't fix it. Live with dark entrance area. Room air cond does not work well. Room control gadgets indicators were too small for seniors to see. Not suitable for senior travellers.
