Jinyuan Hotel

The overall experience exceeded my expectations. The room was spacious and clean, and the facilities were well-maintained, making for a great stay. The location is superb, offering convenient access to dining, entertainment, and shopping. The service was warm and attentive, with all our needs quickly addressed. The price was reasonable, providing excellent value for money. It’s perfect for both short trips and brief stays, and I’ve already recommended it to my friends.

The lobby looks decent, but the facilities are really old. The room wasn't very clean; the first one they gave me had bugs on the bed and a broken floor, plus hair in the bathroom. I was so itchy while trying to sleep. Luckily, I got a new room later that night which was at least tolerable.

The location is fantastic, with easy access to public transportation and the subway. The facilities are in excellent condition, the water pressure is great, and the drainage works perfectly – no leaks at all. Any issues we had were resolved quickly. The young staff at the front desk were all very friendly. We ended up extending our stay for another two nights.

An absolutely fantastic stay! Excellent value for money, and the lovely lady at the front desk even upgraded my room. The location is superb, right next to Hair'er Alley. My new room on the 9th floor was fantastic, both aesthetically pleasing and incredibly comfortable. The complimentary mineral water was from Qiandao Lake, a nice local touch. The bathroom facilities and smart TV were quite modern. Plus, the 10th-floor terrace offers a great view of West Lake.

The room was spacious and spotlessly clean, with large windows offering expansive views from a high floor. The bedding was clean and comfortable, and the bathroom had a separate wet and dry area. There's also a laundry room available for washing and drying clothes. The hotel is surrounded by shops and a wide variety of restaurants.

The location is fantastic! It's within walking distance to Hubin Yintai in77 and Hang Lung Plaza, making shopping incredibly convenient. Getting to famous attractions like Leifeng Pagoda, Lingyin Temple, and North Peak is also a breeze, saving a lot of hassle during your trip. In the evening, you can walk to see the West Lake musical fountain every night – the lights and water show create an amazing atmosphere, and the night view is stunning. The front desk staff were thoughtful and efficient with check-in, and the housekeeping service was warm, attentive, and responsive to requests. The breakfast buffet offers a rich variety of Chinese dishes, and the taste is excellent. Overall, this hotel provides a comfortable, one-stop experience for dining and accommodation. It's my top recommendation for anyone visiting Hangzhou!

Out of the 9 days I spent in Hangzhou, I stayed at 5 different hotels, and this one was by far the best! The moment I walked in, the front desk staff's standard Mandarin made me feel instantly welcomed. There was complimentary tea in the lobby, and the reception was incredibly warm. They even upgraded my room for free and, considering my mother's age, arranged a quiet room for us – their thoughtfulness was exceptional! The room was very spacious and well-equipped, with everything in perfect working order. The bed and pillows were incredibly comfortable, not too soft but not too firm either. There were two pillows, one higher and one lower; the lower one was perfect for me (as someone with a straight cervical spine, I can't use high pillows...). The only minor flaw was that the corner of the bed was a bit too close to the sofa, and I'd bump my shin every time I walked past (but this didn't affect the overall experience). In summary, this hotel left a deep impression on me, and I'll most likely stay here again on my next trip to Hangzhou! (If it weren't for the weekend prices exceeding my budget this time, I would have stayed here until I left Hangzhou without switching hotels – that's how good it was!)

As a resident of the neighborhood behind the hotel, I chose Jinyuan again because its location is simply unbeatable. It's in the heart of the city, with easy access to transportation and plenty of dining options, which is incredibly convenient. Of course, the facilities are a bit dated, but the excellent value for money makes up for it. It's my go-to choice when hosting relatives and friends.
