Huihe Hotel (Hangzhou Wulin Plaza)

If you’re simply looking for a clean, inexpensive place to spend the night, this kind of hotel is fairly typical. Huihe fits squarely into that category — not particularly memorable, but functional. The room is compact and the bed takes up most of the space. The mattress feels a bit springy rather than firmly supportive, though the duvet has a comfortable weight that helped with sleep. The air conditioner sits directly above the bed; it’s not loud, but you’re aware of it. The bathroom is simple, with the shower, toilet, and sink all compressed into a small area. Still, everything looked clean and the towels and amenities were provided. Hallways and common areas feel standard for a budget hotel. Check-in was smooth and the staff were friendly enough. Overall, I’d stay again if the location were convenient — but it would probably be more of a backup choice than a destination stay.

Room was conveniently located. Reception staff was friendly and let me check in early. The room itself was outdated and not the cleanest.

It’s okay good for sleeping not for a long period of time. Close to everything.

Staff are very friendly and accommodating. Nice location, full of restaurants and mart. Also, walking distance to metro lines 2 and 19. The walls are kind of thin but bareable. Recommend.

Thirdhand smoke residue all over the room and worst when sleeping as there are used cigarettes and other trash behind the nightstand, not a very good cleaning job. As a non-smoker I had to wear a mask the first few nights until I got used to it. Blood stains under the sheets of the blanket and shower temperature changes from hot to cold spontaneously. Hallways look like something out a horror movie and the carpets were extremely dirty. Not terrible for the price but spend a bit more and get something nicer. You get what you pay for I guess…
