MCC Hotel(Xihu District)

A very old designed hotel. There is no separate shower cubicle and bath tub. Have to stand in the bath tub to shower. Breakfast is very limited. House keeping will not change your bedsheets unless you give instructions to do it. Consumables in your bedroom will only be provided once unless you request. The suite has a big king size bed which is uncommon in China. Kitchen is very badly maintained without any cooking wares or utensils. No safe and no ironing equipment in the suite. If you want to iron your cloth you have to use the shared iron in the laundry room at level 1. However, the aircon and heater are in very good condition. Many eateries, convenient stores and pharmacy around the hotel. No front lobby for your Didi pick up, so you have to wait at the roadside.

This hotel was really perfect for me in every way. The staff were so friendly and hardworking and the room was cleaned assiduously. I loved the breakfast buffet and enjoyed the fresh food every morning. The room itself was lovely and quiet. Very good for a Chinese language student to study in between classes. I will come back next time I am in Hangzhou!
