Hangzhou West Lake Liuyingli Hotel

This is my go-to choice when visiting Hangzhou. The service is consistently thoughtful, attentive, and excellent, and the facilities are comprehensive and well-maintained. The location is superb, right on West Lake with Leifeng Pagoda directly opposite. I enjoyed morning runs around the lake. It was a perfect stay, highly recommended!

The location of Liuyingli is superb. To the left of the hotel exit is 'Listening to Orioles Singing in the Willows' (Liulang Wenying), and walking straight to the right will lead you to Nanshan Road. When taking a taxi, simply select 'hotel parking point' and the driver will stop at Building 3, where the front desk is located. Although the hotel's garden isn't as large as that of the West Lake State Guesthouse, it is still exquisite. The in-room TV supports screen mirroring, and the air conditioning keeps the room refreshingly cool. The absolute highlight, however, was the staff at the breakfast restaurant and Wenyin Hall. They were incredibly warm, friendly, attentive, and professional, making them the best memory of our trip.

A very comfortable hotel right by West Lake, with a rich history, warm service, and excellent dining. Every photo you take looks like a masterpiece! I left some items behind, and the front desk staff immediately sent them via SF Express. This is truly a must-stay hotel for any trip to Hangzhou. Five-star rating!

A rare tranquil spot by West Lake, the greatest charm of Liuyingli lies in how it integrates the beauty of West Lake into the hotel itself. The garden landscape is elegant, the environment is quiet and comfortable, and you can feel the charm of Jiangnan everywhere. The service team is warm and attentive, making for a very pleasant stay. It's a hotel perfect for slowing down and enjoying a vacation. Looking forward to my next visit.

I booked two rooms, so here's another review. **Facilities:** The facilities in the Executive Club room were good, quite new, and overall decent. However, the air conditioning noise was too loud and affected my sleep. **Cleanliness:** The cleaning was a bit sloppy. Perhaps it was because I arrived at 3 PM and the room wasn't ready yet, so they rushed the cleaning. They initially said it would take 30 minutes, but it was done in 5. When I went in, I found many spots weren't cleaned properly, and the toilet had an unpleasant odor. **Environment:** It's right next to the West Lake scenic area, which is beautiful, although the garden is relatively small. **Service:** The overall service was okay. The breakfast restaurant staff were also nice and helped carry plates. However, the food itself wasn't very tasty, the variety was limited, and the quality could use improvement. It's probably on par with a budget hotel's offerings.

Terrible hotel, both service and hygiene were awful. Trip.com stated check-in was at 2:00 PM, but when I arrived at 3:00 PM, I was told the room wasn't even cleaned yet. When I finally got in, the bathroom was full of disgusting stains, absolutely revolting! 🤮 The breakfast was exceptionally bad, honestly the worst I've ever had at any hotel. It tasted terrible, and the ribs had a foul, ***** smell – I actually threw up that morning! The breakfast selection was pitifully small. Also, their Chinese restaurant should be avoided at all costs; I found hair in the food, which was horrifying! A truly dreadful experience overall.

One of the three state guesthouses by West Lake, the location is unbeatable – truly a tranquil oasis amidst the hustle and bustle, where you live right within the scenery. The facilities are comprehensive and well-maintained, and the staff are warm and attentive. Overall, I'm very satisfied.

The hotel environment is excellent, boasting a private and stunning West Lake shoreline, and the facilities are quite good. The hotel has restricted access, so only guests with a key card can enter, which adds to the safety. The location is also fantastic, right next to Liuhe Pagoda, making it very convenient to visit Leifeng Pagoda, Su Causeway, Wushan Square, Hefang Street, Southern Song Imperial Street, and Qianwang Temple. There are also great restaurants nearby. You can also enjoy beautiful sunsets and evening glows.

The hotel's location right by West Lake is fantastic – a peaceful oasis amidst the bustle, with beautiful surroundings. The rooms are clean and well-equipped, and the staff are polite and always happy to help. I'll definitely be staying here again.
