The homestay is located in a convenient location, surrounded by lots of coffee shops and restaurants. We booked the top floor room with a great view of tea plantation. The personnel are very friendly and so helpful. Each night we were offered warm desserts brought directly to our room. We would love to come back here again.

Super host. Very friendly. Every morning they prepared wonderful breakfast for us. Every night when we back to hotel, they also served home made dessert to us. Upon check out we request for extend with no extra charger. They also give us welcome gift. Sure will come back again.

I recently stayed at Zhuge Homestay during my trip to Hangzhou, and it was a surprisingly pleasant experience.
Location:
The homestay is tucked away in a peaceful area near the Xihu Scenic Zone, yet still close enough to major spots like Hupao Spring and Longjing Tea Village. It’s a great choice if you’re looking to escape the tourist crowds but still want easy access to sightseeing.
Room & Facilities:
The rooms are clean, modern, and well-maintained. I appreciated the thoughtful design – minimalist, but cozy. The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was spotless with strong water pressure. Wi-Fi was stable throughout my stay.
Service:
The host was warm, helpful, and quick to respond to any questions I had. They even gave me some great local food recommendations. The check-in process was smooth, and communication was easy despite the language barrier.
Breakfast:
The complimentary breakfast was a nice touch. Their homemade wontons were simple but satisfying – perfect to start the day.

The hotel is a lil away from the city centre of Hangzhou. On a hill and right next to jiuxi shibajian. The rooms are quite small and facing the main road, so it can get quite noisy early in the morning. The service from the staff at the hotel was pretty good. Overall, not too bad but maybe not a great location if u wanna be close to west lake as going in n out of this area can be inconvenient when there’s traffic.

Exceptional service where staff are nice and responsive. Particularly love the breakfast spread of spring onion pancakes, eggs, assorted buns, millet and rice porridge

Though the location was kinda deep into the mountains but the scenic view from the stay was impressive. Just be mindful about the traffic jam towards the location during peak period. The service level provided by the staff and also the cooking aunty was lovely. They were helpful and tried their best to accommodate with the requests. Would like to suggest to have more safety proof railing along the stairs for elderlies. Nevertheless, Love the stay here! Thank you 朱阁！
