Hangzhou Baergan Chinese Inn (Hefangjie Drum Tower Branch)

This hotel is located near Gulou (Drum Tower) on Xiaoxia Lane, surrounded by many snack shops. The loft-style room makes excellent use of the height, featuring two levels, which is a great design. All the essentials for a single room were provided.

Didn't take any photos, but the location is super close to Drum Tower, and the pedestrian street is bustling at night with lots of snacks and even live music performances, which I loved. The interior is very clean, cozy, and comfortable. What an unforgettable and happy trip to Hangzhou!!!!

The staff upgraded my room when I checked in, and I honestly didn't expect such a great room for the price. The inn is conveniently located near the scenic area, but far enough away that we weren't bothered by tourist noise. Very satisfied!

Though very small, the room was decent enough. It had everything you'd expect, even a TV (though I didn't turn it on to check if it worked). As for soundproofing, since I checked in close to midnight, I didn't hear any noise. I just went straight to sleep and didn't have any specific demands for the shower either. So, for less than 90 at this price point, it was perfectly fine for me.
