Muhua Hotel (Hangzhou West Lake Broken Bridge)

A terrible experience. The parking lot is right at the entrance, a tiny space that fits only a few cars, so you have to block the cars in front. As for the room, the bathroom was grimy, the windows were drafty, it was very noisy due to being next to the road, and the air conditioner filter definitely needed cleaning. Finally, the service. There was one woman at the front desk who spoke as if you owed her money, while everyone else was very polite. It was truly awful, so bad it's hard to describe. Even a hotel like Quanji would be better.

The room was quite clean and comfortable. Ali had a good attitude. The weather was great, perfect for a trip. It wasn't too crowded since it was the start of the school year.

I chose the Muhua Hotel last minute. The hotel has a great location; you can walk straight to West Lake from there, and it's convenient for dining and shopping. The staff were very good. It was quite hot for sightseeing in Hangzhou, but the AC in the room worked perfectly, keeping it cool and clean. Since I was traveling with a child, I requested a quieter room, and despite being on a street, it was still quiet enough for sleeping.

The front desk staff, especially Ms. Ah Li, were all incredibly nice and patient. Even in the middle of the night, when my hairdryer wasn't strong enough, they thoughtfully replaced it with a more powerful one. The location is super convenient, and the hotel smells lovely right from the moment you walk in. Super nice!!!

The toilet stank terribly, there was always a strong urine smell, and it seemed like housekeeping never cleaned it. There were stains all over the floor. The bed wasn't clean either, with hairs and dirt on it. Definitely not worth the price. The window faced other residential buildings, and people on the street could see directly into the room.

The hotel lobby is spacious. Hangzhou is often rainy, so you have to check the weather before heading out. West Lake, Lingyin Temple, the museum, and Hefang Street are all worth a visit. Alibaba's attitude was good, and the room, while not huge, was decent.

Even during peak check-in time, I didn't have to wait long. The staff, Xiao Wu, was efficient and well-organized. They proactively offered me water and clearly explained the hotel's amenities, including the gym and laundry room locations. The check-in experience was smooth and comfortable.

The Zen Tea room was spacious enough. Our package didn't include breakfast, but the front desk lady said we could add two breakfasts for ¥59. However, when we took the kids down to see the restaurant in the morning, they decided not to eat breakfast. The selection was limited, comparable to a budget hotel restaurant. I liked that the room had a bathtub and a door between the bathroom and bedroom, allowing adults to move around without disturbing the kids' sleep. Special thanks to the front desk lady who saw we had two children and provided two extra blankets.

The room was clean and tidy, and the bedding was comfortable. The location is very convenient for getting around. The front desk staff were warm and responsive, and the overall environment was quiet. The hair dryer had an eye-catching sticker on it that needs improvement. The value for money was good, and my stay was pleasant. I would choose this hotel again if I have the chance.
