PRO: - Strategic location, by the side of Xihu Lake and there were lots of restaurants and shopping mall behind it. CONS: Considering this is an International Hotel ”Grand Hyatt” - At first, they gave me a room that was not fully furnished (no bath tub and shower door), different than the pict that they advertised. I complained to the manager to give me another room. In the end she transfered me to the fully furnished one, but she seemed annoyed by my complain. - Compared to other Hyatt rooms that I've stayed, this room was the smallest. - Limited selection of breakfast for a 5 stars International hotel. Not worth for the price they charged.

A very, very, very beautiful hotel, close to the West Lake. Although you can't see the West Lake directly, it only takes 5 minutes to walk there. It has a feeling of seclusion in the urban area, which is definitely the feeling in the early Republic of China. I have seen other people’s comments saying that the hotel will upgrade the rooms, it’s true😂! The villa has three floors, with a living and dining room on the ground floor, a guest toilet, and a TV in the living room. The middle floor is a large bathroom with a bathtub and a tub. The hotel provides disposable supplies. On the upper half floor is the master bedroom. Before reaching the master bedroom, there is a powder room, wardrobe and bathroom. The master bedroom has a TV and a small independent balcony. The upper half floor is also a balcony, a large balcony that can communicate with the house next door. The hotel provides breakfast in a semi-buffet style, which is a bit too rich for me😂😂.

This is my second stay. Whenever I visit Hangzhou, I prefer staying near the lakeside for convenience. The hotel is in the style of an old star-rated hotel. The lobby and restaurant are very spacious and grand. The rooms are clean and well-equipped. I stayed here for two days. It takes 15 minutes to walk from the hotel to the Broken Bridge and 5 minutes to the lakeside. You can also go shopping at Wulin Night Market in the evening, which is only a 10-minute walk away. The room service is also attentive. After a day of visiting the West Lake, the room was very clean and tidy. Fruits and clothes drying racks were also prepared. The housekeepers Yu Ying and Ran Hanghu provided good service. I commend it. I will stay at Wanghu Hotel next time I come to Hangzhou.

The hotel location is very convenient to metro, West Lake and shopping malls. As we approach the hotel, their doorman helped us with our luggages and led us to the way to reception counter. The hall was filled with a nice scent of floral, and the room was spacious and clean. Love the day bed by the window. They have a revolving restaurant at Level 20 that oversee the West Lake and neighbourhood. Another restaurant at Level 1 served delicious food too. Overall the hotel staff were friendly and the security measures they have put in made me feel safe staying in. Highly recommended.

Serve: The hotel staff are very polite and have a good attitude. They even upgraded our room type when we checked in. From the far edge of the 13th floor, we can see the observation deck on the 10th floor and part of the West Lake. Hotel features: The observation deck on the 10th floor is very unique, but the foggy weather during those two days affected the impression. Otherwise, it would have been very pleasant to sit there, look at the West Lake, and have a drink. The lobby on the first floor of the hotel is quite grand. There is a very interesting study room. There were activities during the two days we were there. The children painted fans and liked it very much. Room facilities: Well, when I looked at the photos posted by guests in the reviews, I felt that the facilities in the room were rather old, but in fact they were okay. It might have something to do with the color of the furniture. The room is very clean, the bed is big, and the stay experience is good. The overall stay experience was very good. The breakfast is delicious, the Chinese breakfast is very light! The location is also very good, only two or three minutes walk to the West Lake! The staff is also very nice! But the overall environment of the hotel is so-so. First, when I checked in, I found that there was no TV. Later, I asked about the design style. Then I found two moths in the room at night, both of which were killed by me. When taking a bath, the drainage is not very good, and it is easy to get out of the floor outside, causing water to accumulate. As soon as I checked in, I found that the floor of the room was a little bit up. I think it was caused by the frequent accumulation of water. In the middle of the night, the refrigerator operates too loudly, and the air purifier does not match the overall style of the homestay, so I don’t understand why there is no TV because it doesn’t match the overall style of the homestay, but this air purifier exists. I originally had great expectations for this homestay, but the greater the expectation, the greater the disappointment. The price is still more cost-effective to stay at the next door Grand Hyatt or Hilton.
