I selected this hotel due to its reputation from a friends recommendation and in particular because of their outdoor swimming pool. The weather is hot and humid so some pool time was what I desired. On arrival I discovered the pool was closed but this hadn’t been advertised anywhere and I was exceptionally disappointed. I was given access to the gym and indoor pool at the Banyan Hotel up the road and also a room upgrade by lovely staff who were understanding of my disappointment. The rooms themselves are fine with a massive bed, lovely bath and shower in the bathroom. Breakfast was good with a variety of food, with pastries and some cereals (didn’t see any muesli though). The staff were very helpful during my entire stay, helping with deliveries and some basic questions as well as the aforementioned room upgrade. Just wish the pool was open as it looks like the perfect space for relaxing.

We had a lovely stay here. The staff were all very friendly and accommodating. Our room was clean, well maintained and it was lovely sitting on the small balcony sofa enjoying the fresh spring air. We took full advantage of the executive lounge which was a little small compared to other hotels I've stayed in, it was also a little noisy with some guests watching videos on their phones without earphones. The lounge itself was nice enough with the option of sitting outside on the small balcony. We also spent a long time at the pool which was rather cold, but indoor pools in China never seem to be heated adequately. The spa facilities were nice with a warm plunge pool and sauna. Overall a really pleased stay nestled on the edge of Xixi wetlands. The ambience of the hotel was warm and welcoming, the decor is lovely. A really nice and relaxing stay.

This was the perfect holiday for a completely relaxing experience. The hotel staff were friendly, helpful and went out of their way to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The hotel is located next to Xixi wetland, so a bit out of the centre of town but a comfortable taxi ride away. The hotel is close to a couple of good restaurants and an outlet mall. The rooms and general interior design of the hotel is relaxing, adding to the general spa like experience. Also, amazing facials and massages available. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to all friends visiting Hangzhou.

A great hotel can make for an unforgettable trip. I took my sister and brother to the Xixi Wetland over the weekend and chose the Fanyun Xixi Hotel, which is located in the scenic area. The housekeeper Xiao Qu added WeChat a day in advance and helped us arrange a parking space in the scenic area, and sent a shuttle staff to the parking space to help us carry our luggage. The room is very big. I heard that it was upgraded for us in consideration of my sister’s birthday. The crib was also thoughtfully placed. The view facing the room is very beautiful. Whether we are drinking tea on the roof or sitting in a rocking chair on the balcony, it is perfect. You can enjoy the beautiful scenery of Xixi very well There is a little brother who leads the way to the scenic spots, and the guest room sister brings snacks and dolls in the evening. When we first arrived, the butler asked us to check the room. If we were squeezed, it would add 300 to us and open another room for more than 1,300. Damn, the boss is too generous. We didn't book more because the elderly and children had to live together. The breakfast was delivered to the room because of the epidemic. We were three adults and two children. Actually delivered a five-point breakfast so much. The total category is rich and delicious. The quilt is super clean. The service is great. Lovely hotel in the middle of West Creek/ Xixi National Wetlands Park in Hangzhou. The hotel and service offerings are excellent, located in a very secluded spot away from the hustle and bustle, great for relaxation and enjoying the serene and tranquil surroundings. There is a small lake in the middle of the hotel, which I understand is owned and managed by the hotel. The views are wonderful and better than going to the famed West Lake (way too touristy and crowded). I think this hotel has a lot going for it, even though it’s not a known brand. I would say some things for improvement are as follows: Must, must open a spa. AmanFayun, Banyan Tree, Anh Luh and Four Seasons all have spa’s and they’re at roughly the same price point. This wasn’t a deal breaker for me, but for some people this would put them off from booking here. Gym. This place needs an on-site gym for obsessed exercise freaks like me (and other health obsessives that want to go to an all-inclusive resort). Also, with the yummy high calorie food offerings in the restaurant, I would like to work those calories off and not worry about getting home fatter than when I left! Restaurant – Excellent service from the wonderful manager, who I forgot to ask her name and all her staff. Very good manners from all the staff, very quiet voices, barely can hear them speak amongst themselves. However there needs to be more of an international offering for people that visit from outside China (US/ Europe, India/ South East Asia/ Gulf countries, who all would probably stay here in the future). There should be another restaurant that offers international fayre, as well as the traditional Chinese restaurant, so both sets of visitors are catered for, and more choice is always good for people that stay longer than 3 days. And vegetarian/ vegan options would be very appreciated. The “Savoir resort” is not mentioned on Didi maps or on Baidu maps, and the Chinese name bears absolutely no resemblance to the English name 杭州所见 – 西溪度假酒店. Foreign people may have problems finding this location on their maps/ getting here without help (the less help that is required, the better). The two top-end rooms (6999 yuan a night and 15,000 yuan a night) cannot be booked on 携程 （Ctrip） or Trip.com. I think there should be 5 – 10 pictures on the site showing these rooms as bookable. I take a long time researching a hotel before booking, so the more information available, the better. The boat trip in the hotel is way better than the boat trip offered outside the hotel. I really enjoyed it, but I don’t think many people use it, which is a shame of a great resource. The fact this hotel has its own private lake is something that makes it stand out from the other hotels. PS , I cannot upload my videos of the boat trip inside the hotel's lake because the file is too big :'(

We are a family of 3 adults. The room size and beds ( 1 queen & 1 single) were perfect for our needs. It wasn’t a roll away bed, it was a proper single bed for the extra pax. And beddings were comfy and great. Room size was good… spacious enough to still provide a 2-seater sofa, and a single armchair. Coffee making, kettle of good quality. Bathroom shower was good, vanity top very good and even a spacious area for a bath tub. It was cold outside at 2 - 5 degrees, but it was warm and good inside. Breakfast was good and tasty. Coffee was good. We had dinner at their in-house restaurant, and good was great! Front desk staff was warm and very friendly, and provided much assistance to us in hiring taxis, and showing us how to get around. It made our day as getting around was super easy with the directions given by one of the senior female staff ( which unfortunately I did not manage to get her name). She was patient and super helpful. And housekeeping lady was equally warm and friendly. We had a lovely time here. We chose this location because it was only 15 minutes to Xixi Wetlands , which we wanted to visit and attend the night show : Jin Xi Gong Xixi. It was a beautiful performance, not to be missed. But they are closed for winter now. To get to West Lake, there is a Metro 450 m away and will take you pretty fast there.

The place is new and rooms are well equipped. Breakfast tastes good but very few choices. I wish they could offer more choices and cuisines . Swimming pool is really beautiful. It’s outstanding. Rooms are extremely clean and tidy. Mini bar is free with soft drinks and is filled everyday .And the environment is too quite and peaceful. Otherwise except for few choices for breakfast; there’s nothing really to complain about. All is was great during our stay and I will surely stay again . Highly recommend this place:
