I booked a room at the hotel reception and they said there would be a 47 euro tax charge. When I asked why the Hilton hadn't charged that this morning, they immediately changed their story and said the tax was 3.75 euros. I was staying in a basement room, which was absurd and made me very dislike Europeans.

Hotel in a good location. Beautiful rooms in an old building with very high ceilings. Very good breakfast. Good amenities. Drinks available around the clock. Good small hotel bar.

God valutta for pengene Fint og nytt rom. Høyt under taket og høye vinduer. Stille og rolig område, 10 min med U-bahn til Hauptbahnhof.

Enjoy your stay here! What a fab hotel! My room was basic, but spacious and comfortable, lots of storage. Hotel staff were polite and helpful. Situated in a great, old building, just a short walk to the U-Bahn station, five minutes to the centre of Hannover.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. They also prepared a breakfast/lunch box because I had to leave before 6:30am.
