Reviews of Amira Hotel Hanoi

It was tucked away on one of the side streets but still easy to find. It’s very close to the big indoor marketplace & easy to walk to the other end of Old Quarter. The breakfast options were great despite still being limited it has more range than other places I’ve stayed at. The yoghurt and custard filled choux pastry were my favourites. The Sky bar was lovely, we pretty much had it to ourselves on the last night. 

Rooms are amazing, good size, very clean. Reception team & door service team are fantastic. Great recommendations for things to do & see. Perfect location in the French Quarter. Rooftop bar has amazing views.

The hotel staff were genuinely some of the best I've ever encountered in all my travels, and their customer service and service recovery is top notch. Unfortunately, the breakfast and housekeeping team can be better. Breakfast crew was rude when asked about food offerings and the housekeeping team mistakenly entered the wrong room(s) multiple times. They also make quite a loud of noise by the corridor and disturbed guests staying there since the walls were very thin.

Location, location, location! You can walk everywhere and it’s right in the hustle and bustle, so much so it was a little overwhelming the first time we stepped out of the hotel in the morning after arriving in the quiet of the night! Staff was excellent. Room was clean albeit a tad small. But all good 👍🏻

The location was good, the bed was good, the shower had hot water, The Wi-Fi was good. The only issue I had with the room was there was no window Which was in all the pictures. So if you want a window, you have to make sure you make that clear when you make the reservation.

We just stayed for a few hours for a transfer. The staff was helpful and helped us at a very late hour which was very kind. The room was very basic and had some wierd controls for the hot water to be used. The breakfast was quite broad for the basic hotel type. It's very close to Hanoi opera house if you need to book a transfer to halong bay.

Ideal location in the old quarter of Hanoi. Elegant decor . Staff are impeccable and arranged trips and transfers with super efficiency. Staff are also very kind and pleasant to older solo travellers. No request is too difficult. The rooftop Skybar has a splendid view of the whole area. It is gorgeous on a warm evening. The Amira made my trip wonderful!

The hotel is in the center of old quarter. However, tour bus cannot enter the narrow street where the hotel is located.

A small niche boutique hotel located at Old Quarters. This hotel is within walking distance to some of the attractions, street food, cafes, restaurants. Every weekend the road is closed for night market whereby many stores were setup along the street. We have booked a Deluxe Double hotel and the room is pretty small,bit suitable for up to 2 persons staying. The asset of this hotel is the staff whereby they speak good English, efficient, friendly and courteous. My appreciation goes to Hayley, Tracy and Tony who I found be most comfortable dealing with. Breakfast selections were adequate with the usual hams, sausages, eggs station, noodles, rice, breads etc, enough to fill your tummy. The only feedback I ve got is the room has no luggage rack and when requested it was unavailable. I was told luggage rack only be found in Standard category of rooms, kind of strange room set up. Apart from this, I would, still recommend for those who wants to stay at Old Quarters vicinity. Thank you. Show quoted

Friendly and very helpful staffs. Good location. Nice room.

Cons: Rooms have no windows, although written as “maybe no windows”. Rooms are also very noisy - you can hear nearly every word of your neighbors. Breakfast is below average. Pros: after complaining about the noise level, the lobby gave us free vouches for drinks.

It’s right in the old town which is walkable everywhere such as Arne famous beer street or the train street station is only 15 mins away, but it’s still Quiet. The hotel rooms are so nice and the staff are the best
