The room was small and came with very basic amenities. My check-in process was a bit confusing as the receptionist (or possibly the hotel owner, I’m not entirely sure) hadn’t been notified of my reservation. However, the room was clean, and its location was very convenient, being right next to the street, which made it easy to call a taxi. Overall, it was a good stay.

This was our first stay in Hanoi, and we are really happy we had the chance to meet the wonderful staff and learn about their culture. If you prefer a peaceful stay away from the tourist noise, this hotel is perfect. It's within walking distance to attractions like the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum Complex. Despite our short stay, the receptionist made us feel welcome, skillfully communicating despite the language barrier. The manager was also kind, accommodating us in a family room. Both were incredibly friendly, making us feel like we gained a friend. Highly recommended!

An older hotel located close to the Old Qtr. We where upgraded when we arrived, at no charge, as a lot of the rooms are small and the reception thought we would appreciate a bigger room. Has a working elevator. Water pressure was good, but the shower head needs replacing. Close to Old Quarter attractions.

Spacious room with a huge bed. Staff were super friendly and helpful, and the location was really good next to major attractions. Being outside of Old Quarter was good to avoid the crowds and noise. The rooms were quiet, with thick curtains helping a lot with the noise. Would recommend.

The location is very good. It is near the Confucian Temple. It is more convenient to take the bus to other scenic spots. There are restaurants and convenience stores nearby. The sanitation is relatively good, the service is relatively good, and the price/performance ratio is high. 200 yuan per night.
The facilities are relatively old and sometimes a bit noisy due to facing the street.

The actual environment of the hotel is completely different from the environment seen online. The door is painted with old paint. The elevator is very small. The corridor is very small. It is not as good as a guest house. The price is not proportional at all.

The room on the first day in Vietnam. Book for 2 nights at Ako (6400 yen)! There is a large temple (admission 400 yen) just 1 minute walk away. A 15-minute walk will take you to a train photo spot.
A 20-30 minute walk will take you to the old town and the lake.
I like that this place is calm and not noisy.
There is also a 24-hour coffee shop nearby.
The fare from Noi Bai Airport to here was around 1800 yen by Grab even though it was late at night.
Amenities include coffee, tea, water, free soap and shampoo, toothbrushes, knitters, shavers, and paid drinks.
The room is clean, air conditioned, and has good water pressure.
It gets a little cold at night in Hanoi at this time of year, so I was glad that the shower had hot water right away.
The receptionist is also kind!
Wi-Fi was available at the reception desk and connected to the one on my floor, and the communication was comfortable.
When I asked to smoke, there was an ashtray in front of the room, which was great. No smell at all!

The room is relatively hygienic. Although it faces the street, there is no noise. Located in the city center, it is very convenient to go to the Confucian Temple, the Imperial Palace and other attractions.

The room is big enough, but the bathroom is average. However, the price is cheap, so it is more suitable for traveling alone.

The room was very old and had the feel of a small hotel in the 1990s. When you went out at night, you had to leave your key at the front desk. Very retro feel.
