LIZZY • Ritz Hotel on Harbin Central Street

Even before I stepped inside, I felt this hotel had a lot of heart. At the entrance, I saw several cat beds, probably for stray cats! It really shows how caring they are. **Environment:** The hotel's interior is very beautiful, though the exterior is quite ordinary. The location is super convenient, right near Central Avenue and Red Brick Street, making it easily walkable. **Service:** The staff provided excellent service. They helped with luggage and were enthusiastic and patient in every way. I felt they were the most welcoming of any place I've stayed. **Amenities:** The hotel offers breakfast and complimentary afternoon tea. The breakfast spread was very generous. **Cleanliness:** Overall, it was decent. The bedsheets and bathroom were clean, but the floor in the room was a bit dirty. The hotel's interior was very beautiful and clean. **Only downside:** There's a garbage collection point outside the hotel, and a few garbage trucks can be found there. If you happen to be around when they are, it can be quite smelly…

This hotel boasts an excellent location, right off the main thoroughfare of Central Street. You can reach shops like Laodingfeng and Wanguo Foreign Goods within a two-minute walk. The hotel's decor is quite retro. Even though a family room cost over 3000 RMB a night during Chinese New Year, I felt it was totally worth it! The front desk staff were all very welcoming and enthusiastic. They even gave us a complimentary gift bag upon check-out. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Harbin!
