Hotel Indigo HARBIN CENTRAL AVENUE by IHG

I highly recommend the Indigo Hotel on Central Street in Harbin! ✨ The overall renovation is exquisitely retro and full of design, with details everywhere, making it perfect for photos. The staff service is thoughtful and attentive, responding promptly, making for a great stay experience. The location is truly impeccable. Central Street is right outside the door, and it's a quick walk to the Flood Control Memorial Tower, making it super convenient for strolling along the Songhua River and saving a lot of travel time. The breakfast deserves a special mention! The variety is rich and has many local specialties. The freshly made chive pockets and egg burgers are delicious, with crispy crusts and authentic flavors. There are also many Northeastern delicacies, allowing you to experience the authentic taste of the 'Ice City,' catering to both Chinese and Western tastes – I was very satisfied. The overall stay experience was fantastic. If you're traveling to Harbin, this place is definitely a top choice!

Perfect location, beautifully designed rooms, very convenient transportation. The staff are warm, responsible, and naturally sophisticated. The restaurant balcony is fantastic with captivating views, and the weather was delightful.

Room 616 is spacious, but it's missing a single sofa and a square table. The location is fantastic, right by the river, the Monument Tower, and Central Street, offering unbeatable views. The room door can't be deadbolted, and even after repairs, it still doesn't work properly. The decor is nice, though there's a slight odor. The air conditioning was set to 26 degrees but kept reverting to 21 degrees automatically, which was a bit cold, so I had to ask for an extra blanket. It's worth a visit, though the price is a bit high.

Whenever I visited Harbin before, my friends would make me walk from the church to the square, which was quite tiring. This time, the hotel's location was excellent. My river-view room offered views of the Songhua River and the Flood Control Memorial Tower across the way. It was especially cozy returning to the room in the evening with all the lights. The restaurant on the 9th floor had a great ambiance too. Plus, Central Street is right downstairs. Overall, a really good experience.

I booked a river view room, which was spacious and right next to the square. The scenery was beautiful, and there were performances in the square. The soundproofing of the windows was excellent; I could barely hear any noise from inside the room.

Indigo hotels always have a unique style that I really appreciate. This Harbin location is no exception; its exterior is incredibly refined and blends seamlessly with the surrounding architecture. The location is unbeatable – right downstairs is the Flood Control Memorial Tower and the Songhua River. It's a short walk to Central Street for shopping or to take the cable car to Sun Island. Stalin Park is also nearby, perfect for a pleasant stroll. Sometimes there are events in the plaza, and it's so relaxing to enjoy the river breeze and watch a performance. Staff are stationed on the first floor to help with luggage storage and open the (admittedly heavy) doors. The corridor leading to the elevators is beautifully designed, and there's a strange sense of security when the automatic doors close. The building isn't particularly tall, but it never feels cramped. The river view rooms are incredible, with the Flood Control Memorial Tower right outside the window. I really love the room's design style, a blend of German and American influences. In the twin room, the beds can be pushed together to form one giant bed. The room has a capsule coffee machine, a Kenwood kettle, and the hand soap and shower gel are both Shanghai Tang's Imperial Jade scent. Honestly, it has a tea-like aroma that's quite similar to my favorite Armani Thé Yulong, which I love!

The hotel is right outside Central Avenue, which is very convenient. The room is spacious, and the soundproofing is good.

The hotel's hardware, decor, and location are all excellent, with landmark buildings and the Songhua River visible from the window. However, this is the first time I've stayed at an InterContinental where an IHG member didn't receive a welcome drink. I argued with the front desk and a male guest services representative for a long time, and their attitude was quite arrogant. Impressive! Do guests who stay at this type of hotel really care about two bottles of drinks? I've always highly regarded the InterContinental brand; my experience at the Indigo Ningbo around my birthday last year was very good.

Macre provided warm and attentive service, and the hotel's location is excellent. The environment was very comfortable. My trip to Harbin was delightful!
