This hotel is ideally located in the centre of the city, near to all the main shops and restaurants. You can also walk to St Sophia's cathedral. This place has a lot of charm and character! TV didn't seem to have any movies or anything beyond the regular channels but it was nice and comfortable. The set breakfast was ample and tasted good - it looks as if they have abandoned the buffet style. Staff cannot speak much if any English but I can speak enough Chinese and they were friendly. Overall it is clean and worth it for the price.

Grand Mansion 1903 Hotel 🏨 is still as good as ever. I stayed here with my children in 2019. The children liked it very much. Both the decoration and the service of the hotel are very good. Have breakfast in the hotel's century-old wine cellar. Freshly fried steak and omelettes are the specialties. They taste very good and there are many varieties of breakfast. When I came to Harbin again this year, I chose the Grand Gongguan 1903 Hotel. When I checked in, a handsome guy with a very nice attitude saw me bringing an old man and two children with him, and he even offered to give us a breakfast. The feeling of staying here this time is still very good. The waiters will meet all our needs. If I have the opportunity to come to Harbin again in the future, I will still choose Grand Gongguan 1903 Hotel.

I booked a room with a window, but the window turned out to be a wall. I told the front desk to change rooms, but they said they couldn't change rooms when the room was full. I told them that I had booked three nights and could change rooms the next day, but I insisted not to change rooms. Didn't I check out the next day? The attitude at the front desk was also very bad... I contacted Ctrip to change hotels the next day! The front desk said that only twin rooms have windows... I said that it would be fine to change to twin beds. They didn’t give me a change either🤣Because I wasted half of the next day’s trip by changing hotels, I was really angry... ugh! The location of the hotel is really good. Central Street is 100 meters away, so eating is also convenient. The room is really small and it is difficult to put suitcases.

The location is very very good as it is in the Central street of Harbin. But, there is only meeting rooom there, with no other facilities. The service is good, and the hygiene is ok. It is just because the carpet is a bit dirty and this hotel is very very old. Also, it is not 4 stars level hotel, it is more like 2.5 stars. Not only the location is good, but also there is a Russian cuisine restaurant that is delicious nearby, I recommend everyone to try that restaurant. But, there is a lot of people there, so you need to go there early otherwise the seats will be full and need to wait for a really long time. This hotel is ok if you live there for a night or two, but if you stay in this hotel for 3 nights or more, then I dont really recommend you to live in this hotel.

I loved my stay at this hotel. The staff were very friendly and tried to meet my every need. The interior design and background music create a special atmosphere. I received unlimited water and coffee capsules supply. I'd definitely stay there again.

朋友推薦過來的，客棧在小區裏晚上特別安靜，位置不錯離中央大街松花江網紅橋什麼的也都很近不需要打車，老闆娘人也挺好的服務不錯，加了微信有事可以隨時聯繫，床品乾淨設施挺齊全的，洗漱用品都有還準備了一次性拖鞋坐便套盒洗臉巾，都是完全免費的！很貼心不錯！

*Disappointed after so many good reviews…* We recently travelled to Harbin and after looking at many of the hotels and reading the reviews we decided that this was the hotel for us. However we were shocked to find the poor service and cleanliness during our stay. Location: The location of the hotel is a huge plus point as it’s very close to the central street & not too much of a distance to reach the main tourist attractions (20/30 min taxi ride). The location is also close to lots of restaurants which is very convenient. Service: This is an area which could definitely do with improvement especially the evening staff, upon checkin the staff were friendly and welcoming however when we raised issues with the hotel room they became very rude and disrespectful. When we arrived to our room we found we had no face cloths - not a big issue and one that was resolved in a timely manner. However we then had to ask for the face cloths each day after housekeeping had changed the towels which isn’t an issue in itself more of an inconvenience . However the staff at the front desk seemed to find it quite funny (staff members laughing when we mentioned our room number at the front desk) that we had several issues with our room. Amenities: The hotel has a robot delivery service for when you order food and other items from meituan which is a convenient way to get your things. The shower in the room was broken but was fixed in a timely manner. The room air con is basically just an ornament, the temperature of the room cannot be changed - it was set at 34 celsius one night - you can open a window but it will get cold quite quickly. Cleanliness: Another area with room for improvement - the hotel room is rather dusty with dust falling from the ceiling above the bed. The sink was not cleaned when we checked in. On one occasion we were given ‘fresh’ towels with make up stains on. Unfortunately we would not stay here again.

If you want to stay on Central Street, this hotel is a great choice. There are lots of shops and restaurants around you with in walking distance. It’s roughly 10 minutes away from the nearest train station however getting a taxi is just around the corner. The staff didn’t speak English, if any very broken yet it’s not a deal breaker, because all you have to do is hand them your passport at check-in. The room had everything you would need or expect from a highly rated hotel such as a kettle, hair dryer, tv, etc. Feel rest assured that the rooms are well insulated too. We had -32 degrees outside in the evenings and didn’t feel cold at all. The biggest let down was the quality of the bathroom. The shower head didn’t spray water very well and the shower door had to be fixed during our stay as the water sealant ***** was loose, thus water kept running on the bathroom floor. The hotel is showing its age but not chasing be away. Yet its not the newest hotel, definitely one of the best placed. One highlight was the breakfast spread. I booked my room with breakfast included and I’m glad I did. There was freshly baked goods, fresh fruits, eggs and meat, some Chinese dishes and some cereal. Glad to have been able to leave the hotel in the mornings with a full stomach.

Hygienic: The room is clean, there is a little tide, and it will improve after opening the window for ventilation. Location is perfect, literally meters from the main street. that's pretty much what and all you are paying for. We were in the basic room so expectations were low. I would say it satisfy the basic needs in terms of space and amenities. I mean is a decent place to sleep for the location. However, the room is really small, a bit cold, old and pretty much falling apart here and there. Bed was good, comfortable and soft. Rooms are not soundproof so expect to hear everything going around. However, we were lucky to not have many guests around. Wifi was horrible and slow. Reception was great and the staff at the entrance has been friendly and available with any requests. For the low score to service it is meant to the cleaning. Room was still dirty on the angles when we arrived. Soups were never refilled in the bathroom (not even the hand ones) and we had to ask everytime to get a refill. Feels like cleaning lady entered, put the cover on the bed back in order and left without caring much on whatever was needed to be refilled or cleaned in the room. Barely touching the bottom of the job. Anyway back again, low expectations, decent room, great location. Satisfy the basic requirements and if you get it for a low price might be worth it.

First of all, thank you for the service at the front desk. Everyone is very enthusiastic. The location is quite great. But the soundproofing is really beyond praise. Stayed for two nights and didn't sleep well both nights! There are also bath towels, why are the towels so torn! ?
