Think this is a 4-5 stars hotel locally. The lobby is decent, not posh type. The rooms are cosy and beautiful. Kids like the kids room, toys and the sport car bed. All toiletries are provided and have kids version. Very thoughtful. Have a welcome fruits n snacks platters with high class mineral water. One thing we didn’t like about the hotel is it has a weird smell when we stepped out of the lift and walked towards our room. Like ‘salted fish’ smell. Not sure if it is from carpet or some food brought in by others. The smell was also in our room. The hotel is at a busy road junction facing Songhua River. Around there are many local eateries. We had a hard time finding suitable food for us and kids as their local food are mostly beef, lamb and duck innards and spicy. End up we took a taxi and went to a restaurant called Sheng Tian Fu, recommended by the driver. Taxi drivers not many are familiar with this hotel, and have to show them namecard. Not too difficult to get to attractions such as Harbin Polarpark, Sofia church and Zhongyang Street. More convenient to travel by taxi as these places are not exactly very near hotel and it can be cold walking a distance of 1-2km. Hotel provides decent breakfast with reasonable variety. Waitresses are friendly and proactive to chat with you and recommend you what to eat. One of them is called Xiao Liu, nice middle-age lady. Overall, we had a pleasant stay at this hotel and may go back if we go to Harbin again and if the pricing of hotel is cheaper.

I loved my stay at this hotel. The staff were very friendly and tried to meet my every need. The interior design and background music create a special atmosphere. I received unlimited water and coffee capsules supply. I'd definitely stay there again.

Many of the previous reviews confirmed. We arrived late at night but were able to check in easily. The location was spectacular near many coffee shops and Russian restaurants. We even stumbled upon a nearby karaoke bar on the pedestrian street! It is near enough to walk to the Sophia Cathedral (which is seemingly closed). Ice and Snow World is far enough to need a car but close enough that it’s a quick ride. After hours of touring in the cold, the heated floors were much appreciated. The bathtub was also very nice.

Grand Mansion 1903 Hotel 🏨 is still as good as ever. I stayed here with my children in 2019. The children liked it very much. Both the decoration and the service of the hotel are very good. Have breakfast in the hotel's century-old wine cellar. Freshly fried steak and omelettes are the specialties. They taste very good and there are many varieties of breakfast. When I came to Harbin again this year, I chose the Grand Gongguan 1903 Hotel. When I checked in, a handsome guy with a very nice attitude saw me bringing an old man and two children with him, and he even offered to give us a breakfast. The feeling of staying here this time is still very good. The waiters will meet all our needs. If I have the opportunity to come to Harbin again in the future, I will still choose Grand Gongguan 1903 Hotel.

Very average hotel to spend a couple of nights in Harbin without having to spend too much money. A little far from the main attractions so you will have to walk about 20 minutes to get anywhere. The room was clean and we had all we needed. Towels I had thrown on the floor to clean were put back on the window sill to be used again but that is fair enough. My only issue is that the hotel made us pay for a towel that had changed color because of my dyed hair. Supposedly they couldn’t get it clean again. I have this issue at home as well and know that just running it through the washing machine 1x on a normal setting is enough to get them back to white.

Excellent location. Everything's within walking distance: Zhongyang Street (Zhongyangdajie), Sophia's Square, Songhua River sightseeing spot... The room is comfortable. Huge room. Wonderful. The location is perfect, its off the Main Street so you don't get the noise but its a 5 min walk to the main shopping / tourist street. A 10 min walk to the park where you can access the cable car. Really the location is great. 24hour store opposite also, so really useful if you want to keep warm in the room and eat snacks. Speaking of warmth, the room we had was a little cold, but we didn't notice the heater in the room, but once we did, everything is fine. The place is clean and the service staff are friendly - although we didn't need to use them a lot, they always seemed keen. The reason facilities is not 5/5 is just due to the fact there was no breakfast, but as there are stores always nearby and the Main Street is super close, it really doesn't matter. It's a really nice place and especially for the money, its superb value. Would stay again - very easy decision.

TV didn't seem to have any movies or anything beyond the regular channels but it was nice and comfortable. The set breakfast was ample and tasted good - it looks as if they have abandoned the buffet style. Staff cannot speak much if any English but I can speak enough Chinese and they were friendly. Overall it is clean and worth it for the price.

The room is clean and the bed sheets are hygienic. Each person has to change his or her own suit. The room is very warm and comfortable in autumn and winter. I stayed for two nights and will stay here again next time I come to Harbin. It is close to the Central Street and Hongzhuan Street Morning Market subway stations, within walking distance, and the transportation is convenient.
