The environment is very good. You can take a walk by the river as soon as you go out in the morning. The room is also very large and has a balcony. But the hygiene is not very clean, there are dried stains on the quilt. The mattress of the double bed is made up of two single bed mattresses joined together. The hotel gave us a large suite, which was very spacious. The service is also good! The facilities are a bit old and the bathroom is a bit blocked. But the hotel environment is great. It was very comfortable to walk along the river in the morning. The hotel restaurant is also good 👍, delicious and generous portions, the steak is super big!

First time visiting Harrington and we were very impressed with the Ricer Lodge. Excellent location and very convenient. Swimming pool was a very pleasant temperature. We enjoyed our stay

Stayed here a few months ago, in the quiet season, and really enjoyed ourselves. Then, We had a ground floor studio spa room and it was lovely.
This time we decided to upgrade and booked the deluxe spa studio. It was upstairs (no lift), when we entered the room it was hot and had a dank wet mold like smell to it. We turned on the aircon and put some essential oils on a tissue to make the smell go away. There was a wet spot under the office desk, not sure what it was and the bathroom sink had a large crack in it.
The place had a variety of signs around the room and bathroom, a lot of them warning if u did something wronge you would fined heavily (not very welcoming at all.) Maybe its under new management , its not as welcoming as it once was.
We went to the restaurant and our booking had been misplaced (this also happened to the next group as well) and the service was average. Not sure if the staff are all just exhausted from the Xmas rush. We loved the service last time we were here. Food was alright. Highly recommend the prawns, it was excellent.
The area has Great views and is very peaceful.
The hotel could do with some maintenance. It would also have been nice to walk into a cool room (aircon already on) that smelt fresh, light and clean.

Very generous size rooms with king bed. Very close to Tavern for meals & drinks. Walking access to golf course.
Only negative was having trouble trying to call reception for booking enquires & absence of service staff around.
Would definitely stay again in the future.

What a great place to stay on my journey from Brisbane to Sydney. Food at the bar was ordinary but ok and I was glad to have brought my own pillows but otherwise I loved it and still give it a rating of 10
