"We found the hotel spotless and pleasant the only slight criticism the turning for the car park is not very clear and we found the room a bit too warm even with our window open"

"The hotel is perfectly situated for exploring sights of Harrogate everything very nearby! From checking in and our room available early with welcome cookies which were warm and amazing to checkout the staff could not be more helpful! The room was on the third floor clean, tidy and well presented. The gym and spa facilities were all good and nice to use and relax especially on a Sunday evening! The breakfast was buffet with a selection of hot and cold options the parcel machine was my favourite fresh pancakes which were delicious! This hotel is huge but it's well maintained clean tidy and such an enjoyable experience for our anniversary!"

"Lovely welcome at reception. Really helpful with parking. The room was large, lovely and warm and had every thing we needed. The most beautiful setting for breakfast again with friendly and helpful staff. Loved the decorated Christmas trees. The hotel was in an ideal location for Bettys and the shops."

"Celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary - no special treatment Room ok - even though I had said I’d limited mobility it was on the 1st floor up 3 steps. Creaky floors  Shower had 2 shampoos and 1 conditioner with no shower gel - only found out when already under shower Parking but cost £15 a night with no reduction for blue badge holders Steps up to front entrance  Steps down to reception desk Breakfast was ok - sauce on eggs Benedict was cold and no beans on traditional breakfast - recommend boiled eggs and soldiers"

"It's just that the facilities are too old. It would be better if the facilities can be improved. The room is relatively large. For me, the location is more convenient. There is no air-conditioning and there is a garden. I feel that it should be refurbished to be worthy of the price."

"Amazing from start to finish. Breakfast was delicious, great options. Room (lodge suites) we’re warm, noise proof and clean Food, slightly on the more expensive side, however good size portions and delicious so worth the extra money! Attention to detail throughout our was unreal. We will certainly be back!!"

"Booked to attend an exam nearby (5 min walk). Room nice and big, had everything we needed. Check in check out quick and easy, parking £8 for 24 hours. I asked for a quiet room but definitely was not quiet there was a private function going on with very loud music which didn’t with being prepared and well rested for an early morning exam on Saturday."

"First of all, the environment is beautiful. While the rooftop spa can't compare to those in China, it's still quite comprehensive and excellent, featuring a sauna, sunbathing area, itchy tub, foot massage pool, and natural outdoor soaking pool. Most importantly, the service is impeccable, with exceptionally good attitudes. Although my English is limited, the front desk staff patiently explained everything, providing consistently pleasant and friendly service with smiles."

"This is not a 4 star hotel. Lovely building but once you move from the public areas to the residential the quality drops like a stone. I would class our room as a hostel room not a four star room. The room was extremely tired, stains on the wall, dirty carpet with a grime build up along the edges, a make shift patch on the door, mould in the bathroom, peeling paint behind the sink and an unpleasant odour. All in all  it was just unpleasant. Nice breakfast."
