This is the only hotel I have re-visited on many occasions. I would highly recommend it if you love being in the countryside, good walks, food, etc. However, one of the main selling points for me is the staff - I have never been to a place where time and time again, all the team are fantastic - very friendly (but not intrusive) and clearly want to make your visit the best it can be. As a solo traveller, I always feel extremely at ease.

The bed was one of the most comfortable we’ve ever slept in . Plenty of tea and coffee in the room and fresh milk Staff were great The fire was lovely to sit by before dinner . The library was also lovey to sit in Breakfast was very good quality It is in the middle of nowhere so bear this in mind if getting there early but sitting by the fire made the time fly by. If going in the summer I would take a glass of wine into the gardens to relax

Stayed here for a weekend to celebrate my dad’s 80th. We had a great upstairs room (12), very generously sized with a big, comfortable bed. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Breakfasts and dinners were outstanding quality and the packed lunches were lovely. Be aware that apart from a pub there are no other shops / services in the village / hamlet and there is no phone reception in the immediate vicinity. So if you want to get away from it all you couldn’t be better served. Will definitely be back.

We stayed for two nights to celebrate our birthdays, and enjoyed it immensely once again. Our first time in Room 4, but we have stayed many times including New Year, Spring, pre-Christmas and of course for birthdays. The whole experience is magical from the olde worlde ambience, the excellent food, the cleanliness, the extra touches (so often missing in modern chains) to the polite, friendly, efficient staff. The owner should be so very proud of this fabulous hotel and all his people.

We stayed overnight for Valentines and couldn’t fault anything about our visit to this hotel. Its setting is peaceful, only the birds heard outside our window on waking. Lots of Snowdrops lining the driveway leading to the gardens. Our welcome was warm, friendly and professional and our room was just charming, full of character contrasting with the ultra modern bathroom with its large tub and separate shower. Good water pressure too. Beer and Prosecco along with fresh milk (how we hate those little plastic containers of the other stuff)) in the fridge. Good range of tea and coffee choices. Lovely toiletries as well. We sat reading in the guest lounge in front of the log fire before dinner. A real red rose and chocolates were a lovely touch on our table and we enjoyed our three courses. Service was excellent and the atmosphere was enhanced by the talented Pianist. We had a comfortable sleep then breakfasted well (I particularly liked my oatcakes). We collected our complimentary packed lunch before reluctantly saying goodbye to the lovely staff on duty.

Two night stay for a bit of walking over half term. The staff are the most helpful and friendly I have seen. Dinners were delicious and the breakfast amazing. Complimentary packed lunches and beer and Prosecco in the room fridge were a really welcome surprise. Our first visit but it will not be our last. Fabulous

This was our third visit to Biggin Hall; the last was back in 2015, pre-Covid. It was good then but there have been many improvements since. We booked the 3-night New Year's Eve package in the Master suite; the room we've had previously. The Hall is not modern but full of character and kept very clean and well organised. The staff are superb and they really try to ensure that they cater for every whim. That perfect balance of efficiency and friendliness. Food was excellent and they certainly deserve their AA rosette. The New Year's Eve dinner for 50 offered several choices for each course and it all came out of the kitchen beautifully presented and without anyone having to wait for their meal. Wines are sensibly priced and there's always a good choice of courses for dinner as well as breakfast. They even supplied a daily packed lunch of our choosing. There are two, simple to use, private electric charging points which are inexpensive and plenty of other parking. They help with regards walking routes or other local attractions and for the New Year there were lots of little additions that we experienced that were going above and beyond. We'll be back again.

A most enjoyable short break over the New Year weekend. The staff were friendly and accomodating without being overbearing. As a single traveller this was much appreciated. The food both at breakfast and dinner was exceptional. I will definitely return.

I found this hotel by chance on Google and I’m so glad I did!. The staff are so friendly and helpful and made us feel very welcome. The beer and Prosecco in the fridge was a lovely touch plus fresh milk. The room was spacious and ideal for us with our two dogs. The dinner was delicious and so was breakfast. The complimentary packed lunch is a great idea and much appreciated. We only stayed the one night but will definitely be back.
